Dear users, dear authors,
Easter is not Christmas, when things always get pretty hectic, especially as Advent comes to an end. If anyone had a lot of work before Easter, had a lot to get done, and just wants to switch off before the holiday begins: Here are patterns for relaxing.

@Authors,
this is a promotional thread for all authors.
2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Link and image, as well as material details, technique info, difficulty level info, and information about what makes the pattern special, must not be missing.

"Poesia" practically knits itself. It’s a scarf that is knitted diagonally, mostly in stockinette stitch, except for a small lace-pattern border that doesn’t require any advanced skill and is really easy.
For one scarf, you need one ball of sock yarn (preferably a gradient yarn so the diagonal patterning really stands out) and 3.5 mm knitting needles. Possibly also a stitch marker, so you don’t have to pay attention anymore.
The width can be varied as you like; you can also make it into a wider shoulder shawl, though in that case you should plan for more yarn.

You can find the pattern here.

Tunisian crochet - very easy with a pillow-bag-case-hiking seat cushion
 - very relaxing -

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Tunisian crochet is easy. Just try it out using these patterns (see image gallery).

Basic crochet knowledge is enough.
The various simple Tunisian patterns are described in detail and illustrated.

4-in-1 PDF pattern:

  • a pillow 33 cm x 33 cm, “filled” with 2 towels or stuffing, etc., or 40 cm x 40 cm or your desired size
  • easy to convert into a tote/bag.
  • plus a seat pad for hiking and
  • a glasses casei for sunglasses

Depending on the color combination, the textured pattern always looks a little different.

The measurements can easily be adapted to any desired size .

We need:
100 g in the main color (turquoise here) and 50 g in the secondary color (beige here) of a yarn 50 g – 100 m, for hook size according to the label 3.5 – 4.0, matching Tunisian crochet hook or a knooking needle, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, pins.
Gauge according to the label of the yarn used here: 18.5 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The amount of yarn is also enough for a 40 cm x 40 cm pillow.
For larger pillows, please calculate correspondingly more yarn.

Included in the download :

  • PDF pattern for pillow/bag, seat pad, and glasses case, illustrated on 23 pages
  • PDF pattern: blog “Converting gauge – here’s how”

Knitting a triangular shawl can do a lot to help you relax,
there are lots of stitches on the needle, you can simply knit away
and forget everything while doing it,

for the shawl you need 100 g Tahiti and a size 4 circular needle
and of course the pattern,

it is written simply and easy to follow

you use knit stitches and yarn overs, and also knit stitches together
through the back loop,

you can find the pattern here:

What could be better? Reducing stress while sprucing up your summer wardrobe at the same time? :-)

This crocheted summer dress - made in cool cotton - is perfect for summer days at the beach,
at the pool, or simply for a stroll through town to a coffeehouse!
The skirt length reaches just above the knee, so the dress is also suitable for evening outings :-)

The pattern is simple yet sophisticated - making it absolutely recommended for beginners, too!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, a chart in crochet chart format is also included in the pattern.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and M-L.
However, the included cut/pattern piece and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

And this way to the pattern...

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you just have to have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look appears sophisticated, yet is so easy to make that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included pattern template and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, extensive photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described and illustrated in detail.

If the cat is relaxed, the human relaxes too!

We can learn quite a bit from animals when it comes to relaxing.
Because what do cats do most of the day, for example? Sleep, sleep, sleep ....... pure relaxation. With this crochet pattern, you can create a simple and wonderful spot for your cat, ideal for lazy lounging. The cozy snuggle spot invites your house tiger to dream of little paws or dangerously large claws.

  • Dimensions: approx. 40 cm diameter
  • Material: soft wool and cotton yarn
  • Reversible: one side with paw appliqués, one side with a crocheted-in paw
It is crocheted
  • In spiral rounds, single crochet, hook size 6
  • the appliqués, single crochet and double crochet, hook size 3
  • Paw, single crochet following a chart
  • Border, single crochet, hook size 5
Interested? Then you can find the pattern here.

Knitting for our little ones always helps reduce stress, I think ;-)

An easy-to-make girls’ cardigan comes in handy now and then in spring and summer, too!
The unusual border makes all the difference.
This vest has no button band at all—and is therefore worn open.

This pattern is designed for sizes 98/104, 110/116, and 122/128.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size.

And this way to the pattern...
