Of course, you can use other colors too, but if you want alpine roses, it’s best to choose something in alpine rose colors :-)
A delicate lace-patterned scarf with cables that looks more difficult than it is. You’ll need sock yarn, at least one skein, 3.5mm knitting needles, and a cable needle.

Girls love purple, and girls love unicorns! So what could be more natural than bringing the two together?
This little purple unicorn is super easy to crochet and is sure to make your girl happy! Scraps in 2 shades of purple are enough. I used a bit of mohair yarn for the mane, but any other yarn will work too.

Spring is here, and inspired by nature, I designed this airy summer top, which can be worn in spring as well as in summer and is an eye-catcher thanks to its zigzag pattern.

The summer top consists of three different crochet patterns, which are explained here in the form of crochet charts as well as written descriptions. Lots of photos also help you along. 

The information is for size M/L. Of course, I indicate approximately how many pattern repeats you need to plan for other sizes.

What you need for it:

Yarn:
200 grams each of two different colors (e.g., white/lilac) of Gründl Cotton Light (100 g = 200 m)
Recommended hook size 4, plus a yarn needle and scissors

Just like the wonderful knitted wrap Mellon, which is ideal for many occasions, whether as an accessory with a mid-season jacket or as a shoulder warmer on mild spring or autumn evenings.

Materials needed:

• approx. 350 g (or 1200 - 1500 meters) sock yarn; usage color A approx. 94 g, corresponds to approx. 329 m; usage color B approx. 136 g, corresponds to approx. 476 m; usage color C approx. 113 g, corresponds to approx. 396 m
• several circular knitting needles in the same size (matching the yarn used)
• stitch markers
• scissors
• sewing needle

Skills needed:

• knit stitches
• purl stitches
• yarn overs
• increasing stitches
• knitting stitches together

Gauge 25 sts x 49 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch. Diagonally 38 rows = 10 cm

Lace yarn or leftover yarn can also be used.

After washing and blocking, the size is approx. 220 x 70 cm.

Women's Hat Violetta - crocheted from raffia

Well hatted - ready for summer..with a crocheted hat made from “paper.” The cellulose material is featherlight and can be “scrunched” into any bag. Rafia “yarns” are either raffia or viscose, depending on the manufacturer. Of course, it can also be crocheted with other yarns with a similar yardage and hook size (see below).


Basic crochet skills for crocheting in rounds are enough.

The PDF pattern is illustrated step by step for a head circumference of 52 cm to 55 cm and can easily be adapted for a different head circumference (described in the pattern). Also included are a printable summary as well as links and tips for beginners.


We need: approx. 85 g (= 4 skeins of 25 g each) Rafia (Adriafil), 100% cellulose (wood pulp), hand wash, 25 g – approx. 50 m yardage, for crochet hook size 4.5 – 5.0, used here: crochet hook size 4.5; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, optionally a narrow velvet ribbon approx. 110 cm long, optionally hat elastic.

Crochet Möbius Cowl 1-2-3-4

This cowl wonderfully spruces up sweaters, shirts, and blouses. It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in an afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

With these two crochet patterns, you can crochet a lovely decorative pillow for children, especially for girls (or boys too). It will surely find a place in the children's room.

You can choose between the owls and the flowers—or maybe both? You can also simply add the appliqués to the front and back and have a reversible pillow.

The pillow is also easy for beginners to make. The arrangement of the individual decorative elements is described in detail in the pattern. The stitches used are chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.

As additional material, you will need a pillow insert measuring 40 x 40 cm. This will also be the final size of the pillow. The appliqués can either be attached with textile glue or sewn on with sewing thread.

Whether for a CD, bag charm, cosmetics, jewelry, or similar items, the small bag, about 15 x 17 x 6 cm and made from photo cardstock, has just enough room. And because it’s quick to craft and its colors can easily be changed, you have the option of making many bags with very different looks from the same template.

In a rich wine red mixed with white, this knitted hat is done in a gingham pattern. But of course, you can also use other colors :-)
The pattern is not intended for knitting beginners, but it may be suitable as an introduction to two-color knitting.
I knitted it in a wool/nylon blend yarn with a yardage of 114 m per 50 g. It should be something comparable. Yarn required: 1 ball of each color, possibly 2 balls of the main color for the largest size. You will also need a 4 mm set of double-pointed needles or a circular needle.
The pattern comes in four different sizes, from children's to large adult size, and it is definitely suitable for men as well.
