Material:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like, with a hook about one to two sizes larger than recommended on the label. Fine lace yarns are especially recommended for this pattern. 4-ply sock yarn also works well.
used here:
approx. 80 g Daphne lace yarn (Schoeller+Stahl), 75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 50 g – 400 m for hook size 3.0 to 4.0; used here: crochet hook size 4.5, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. Pins for blocking.

These

Material:
Basically, any yarn you like can be used with the appropriate hook size; thin yarns, lace yarns / gradient yarns (e.g. cakes) are especially suitable.
For the size crocheted here:
approx. 350 g cotton yarn in total, Limone/Catania, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, any color choice, here 8 colors (partly using up scraps); according to label for hook size 2.5 – 3.5; used here: crochet hook 3.5.
In addition, we need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker is helpful for beginners, pins for blocking.
