Striped Cotton Short-Sleeve Knitted Cardigan

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Spring sends its greetings. And stripes are totally on trend. With a top underneath this comfortable and quick-to-knit cotton short-sleeve cardigan, you’ll be wonderfully dressed both at work and in your free time. And if it gets a little cooler, you can also wear a thin turtleneck underneath.

The illustrated PDF pattern is 23 pages long.
These knitting skills are needed:

casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, emphasized decreases, and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: medium for beginners, otherwise easy

We need

in total for sizes S to L approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized cotton, ball band information: 50 g – 125 m length, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue                    100 g
  • White                   100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green              100 g
Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each skein.
I used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable to hold the stitches, stitch marker and row counter (not absolutely necessary), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in the ends.

A woman can never have enough bags, right?

Especially when they’re not only practical, but also make you feel like sunshine.

So bring that good mood into your home, too. Along the way, you’ll also learn new stitches if you haven’t mastered them yet. The pattern also includes a tutorial for deep-inserted stitches and puff stitches.

For the colors, you can choose your favorite colors and crochet your very own unique piece.

The pattern is richly illustrated and contains detailed step-by-step instructions. Even beginners with a little crochet experience can give this bag a try.

You can find all further information about the yarn used, the other stitches used, as well as the crochet pattern here: Crochet Pattern Bag Yellow Sunshine

Fresh colors, a light crochet pattern, and lots of tiny beads come together in the beautiful Peara scarf.

But even without beads, the scarf is a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes especially beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

The scarf can be varied in length and width, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.
It looks especially beautiful in a gradient yarn such as 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.
Dimensions after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm

Materials needed:

  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • crochet hook suitable for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, go up one size)
  • beads (e.g. rocailles – the hole should be large enough that the yarn
  • does not sit too tightly in it)
  • a piece of very thin wire for threading the beads
  • sewing needle for weaving in ends
This scarf is very suitable for beginners, as you only need to crochet double crochet stitches and chain stitches most of the time.

The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial for crocheting in the beads at the edge and in the flower pattern, a written version, and charts.
Difficulty level: easy.

And best of all: for a short time only, you can save up to 25% on the pattern price!

Crochet Pattern: Triangular Shawl FARBENSPIEL

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

Cheerfully colorful – in your desired colors (also great for using up leftovers, if you like), this triangular shawl can be crocheted quickly in just a few evenings – very relaxing.. and a wonderful gift for all kinds of occasions (Easter, Mother’s Day, birthdays, Christmas, weddings, etc.). In the right colors, it’s lovely for a trip to the theater, or bright and colorful for vacation and the beach.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet, and slip stitches (all explained with pictures)

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like with the appropriate hook size; especially well suited for thin yarns, lace yarns / gradient yarns (e.g., Bobbel cakes).

For the size crocheted here:

approx. 350 g total of Limone/Catania cotton yarn, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, any color choice, 8 colors used here (partly using up leftovers); according to the label for hook size 2.5–3.5; used here: 3.5 crochet hook.
Additionally, we need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker is helpful for beginners, and possibly pins for blocking.

Perfect for warm days—whether worn over a bikini at the beach or over a tank top in the city—it’s always an eye-catcher!

The mesh pattern is sturdy and doesn’t warp, since the stitches alternate.

The pattern includes a precise schematic for size 38/40 .
However, the gauge , combined with the schematic, makes it possible to work any size!

Sunshine, and you instantly feel so much better.

So the sun can shine for you even on gloomy days, I designed the Amber Shawl.

The shawl is so delicate that the first rays of the warm spring sun shine right through it.

It is knitted sideways, from the narrow side to the wide side. This makes it easy to adapt it to your size or to the amount of yarn you have.

Alternating between garter-stitch sections and two easy-to-knit pattern sections lets you enjoy relaxed knitting.

At last, fresh air, light, and sunshine - at last our children and grandchildren can play outside on the blanket with their friends again. All around
them are their favorite dolls. But oh dear, they're still wearing
winter clothes. You can change that! For the little dolls, crochet
spring-fresh new dresses, hats, and bags. That makes playing twice as much fun!

With just a few grams of yarn, a size 2 crochet hook, and my 7 patterns, you can fulfill their wishes for a new wardrobe for the
little dolls.

All crochet patterns are also perfectly suitable for crochet beginners; I explain and write everything out in great detail. I hope you enjoy
crocheting and playing.

Best wishes - Your Ina
