Dear users, dear authors,
Crafting has long since stopped being just women’s business. Here on Crazypatterns, there are male users and male authors. In addition, many of the models made from patterns from Crazypatterns are given to men as gifts.
This thread is the place for men’s-themed patterns.

@Autoren,
this is a promotional thread for all authors.
2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Don’t forget the link and image.
Information about the material, technique, difficulty level, and what makes the pattern special must be included.

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(For purchase/download please click the image)

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for a variety of styles, meaning ONE hat design wearable in all the variations shown (see product preview images), for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended).

And the best part:

  • no gauge (it doesn’t depend on the exact cm),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn you like, in all sizes
  • depending on yarn weight, for winter or summer
  • for both beginners and advanced crocheters

The PDF pattern includes pictures.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet.
Everything else and slip stitches are explained.
(Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

By the way: A crochet pattern for an infinity scarf matching this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Material
:
for the model shown, with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook size 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usually needed for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used.

Socks knitted from 6-ply yarn with charts for all sizes

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

Socks made from 6-ply sock yarn are a bit thicker – and therefore also warmer – and, above all, faster to knit than socks made from 4-ply yarn. They are usually preferred for house and bed socks, cabin socks, or also for hiking in mountain boots. Men love socks like these in work boots.

This is basically a sock-knitting course, shown in detail with pictures using children’s socks in size 32/33. All other sizes can be knitted according to the corresponding chart information for 6-ply sock yarn.

Don’t be alarmed! It is harder to describe the process than it is to knit the socks.

Included in the download :

  • PDF sock-knitting pattern - illustrated step by step (22 pages)
  • Baby sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn, from newborns up to shoe size 20
  • Sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn for children’s socks up to adult shoe size 47
Note:
For 4-ply sock yarns, there is a separate sock-knitting course with the corresponding charts here in my shop at https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5603/sockenstrick-lehrgang-fuer-4-faediges-garn-alle-groessen-fuer-baby-kinder-damen-herrensocken

We need

  • 1 ball = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m) up to shoe size 44;
  • 200 g – 250 g from size 45

of a 6-ply sock yarn,

used here: the especially soft merino sock yarn color 02 “Mally Socks – Lungauer Sockenwolle” by Ferner Wolle, 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles 3.5; row counter is helpful; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

For us women, love doesn’t come through the stomach...
... we really like it when our men are dressed so smartly :-)

The simple yet sophisticated cable pattern really brings things to life.
A simple stockinette stitch pattern frames the cable look and makes it stand out even more.

This pattern is designed for sizes 48/50 and 54/56.
However, the included cut and gauge make it possible to make any size!

A detailed description and a chart guide you step by step through the pattern.

This way to the pattern...

Not everyone can call a crocheted classic car their own. This model was designed based on a real-life car.
That makes the pattern very detailed, and every step is accompanied by pictures. Still, the crocheter should no longer be a complete beginner.
You’ll need:
  • 50 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, petrol
  • 50 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, black
  • 20 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, white
  • 20 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, natural
  • 20 g cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, dark green
  • gray yarn
  • craft batting
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
Bunte Fussel hopes you have fun making this!

Just imagine this hat in different colors—black, gray, brown, dark blue, something along those lines—maybe with a little hipster beard to go with it—well, you know what I mean.
It’s knitted in two colors, using a simple pattern that’s perfect for getting started with this technique. The original is made from a wool-blend yarn with a yardage of 114 m per 50 g; for the large men’s size, you’ll need 2 skeins of color A and 1 skein of color B. However, the pattern is also available in smaller sizes that use less yarn.

You can find the pattern here.

Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you simply have to have!

Just change the colors—to, for example, GRAY and BLUE... and every man will be well dressed!

This loop scarf in a tartan look appears sophisticated, yet is so easy to make that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.
However, the included sizing guide and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.

You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, extensive photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

a gift for a man—that's always difficult
how about a keychain? A man can always use one
nicely packaged with a bottle, and the money is tucked into the shark's chip pocket
that gives him everything he needs: something for his beloved car, something to drink, and a little something for a special wish
e.g. the shark

or the motorcycle keychain, for all motorcycle fans

you don't want a keychain???
then there's also the blue tit, who loves celebrating Father's Day,
with a beer mug and barbecue tongs
