Look at this cute little guy sitting in his nest.
Charly the chick is still really quite small, which is why he’s especially
excited for Easter.
In a step-by-step pattern with lots of pictures, I’ll show you how you can easily crochet this chick yourself.
Charly is also very quick to make. He’s just 10 cm tall and 7 cm wide if, like me, you use

Catania yarn from Schachenmayr and a size 2.5 crochet hook. Materials
  • Catania yarn in the colors (yellow), red, and light blue
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Safety eyes, approx. 10 mm
  • stuffing
  • Sewing needle
  • Markers
  • Scissors
What you should already know
  • Chain stitches
  • Slip stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Increases
  • Decreases
  • Crocheting in rounds and rows
  • Simple sewing

And here is the chick pattern

You can never have enough small, cute keychains or little gifts!
These 2 little fellows fit perfectly in an Easter basket or look absolutely wonderful
as decorations.

They are crocheted with Schachenmayr Catania, and only basic crochet skills
are required.

You can find Chick and Egg here!

Best wishes, your Sani!

These funny hens and chicks will bring cheer to the breakfast table. They are quick to crochet, and the pattern is also suitable for beginners.
All you need is cotton yarn in different colors, stuffing, safety eyes, a crochet hook, and a tapestry needle. You should know how to make chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, half double crochet, and double crochet.

Hi, I’m Sunny. I’ve just hatched and have no idea what to expect yet. I can’t find my mom right now either - could you give me some love? That would be really nice, and I’d be absolutely delighted.

Size of Sunny: 17 cm. Sunny’s size varies depending on the yarn and crochet hook size.

Materials needed: Acrylic yarn (Lisa by Gründl) in yellow, approx. 45 g, orange, approx. 25 g, and a small amount of white, crochet hooks size 3 and 2, embroidery needle, sewing needle, stuffing, fabric glue, and a small piece of black felt (scrap)

You need to know: single crochet, magic ring, increasing and decreasing stitches

This chick used to be a surprise egg. I ate the chocolate, but the plastic capsule was left over. And the chick is crocheted around it. It’s really easy. You can use fuzzy yarn (as shown in the picture)—that makes it nice and plush. But any other yarn will work, too. It’s a great way to use up leftover yarn! And now you can hide a little something inside the Easter chick: money, a praline, a small piece of jewelry, a gift certificate...
The pattern includes lots of pictures and also the pattern for the Easter bunny. That way, you can surprise someone twice. Get it now!

Well, well! Look who’s been sitting in my Easter basket since this morning! The two little ducks and the little chick are making quite a racket with their peeping—but aren’t they just adorable?

For this crochet pattern, you’ll need:

    • Cotton yarn (approx. 125 m/50 g) in white, light yellow, sunny yellow, and red
    • a 3.5 mm crochet hook
    • brown safety eyes (8 mm)
    • and some stuffing
And you’re all set to get started! Crochet a whole nest full of cute chicks—it’s really easy!
You only need single crochet stitches, chain stitches, slip stitches, and a magic ring. And thanks to the detailed instructions with plenty of illustrations, this pattern is easy to follow even for advanced beginners.

So check it out right away and grab the pattern! I hope you have fun making them! :-D
