What do you like about spring? (no advertising)

Dear users, dear authors,
what do you like about spring?

Ooooohhhhh.... Spring is my favorite season.
I love how it’s slowly getting warmer, the little flowers are sprouting, and there are tiny buds on the trees.
The birds are chirping, migratory birds are returning...
Life is awakening, and I just love that. :-)

Sitting on the balcony, watching the squirrels and seeing all the tricks they come up with to get past me. A squirrel will go to quite a lot of trouble for a walnut ;-) The birds are hard at work again, and I’ll soon be able to clear out my sunroom in the attic. For me, that always marks the beginning of sunshine, warmth, and summer vacation :-)

To put it simply: I like spring because winter is finally over!
I hate winter. It’s dark, and a lack of sunlight makes me depressed. In spring, you can go back out into the garden, and everything starts to come back to life. The warmth of the sun and the awakening of nature are wonderful.

What I like most is that the days are finally getting longer again.
It’s already light out in the mornings when I drive to work.
Of course, I also generally like temperatures above 10 degrees.
Everything smells a little different—more floral, more cheerful—and the world just looks so beautifully colorful.
Yeah, I think spring is my favorite season, too.

I really like spring, too.

It’s just lovely to be woken up in the morning by birdsong and the sun again.
I’m just so happy because it’s getting warmer again and everything is turning green and blooming. 

Spring is here.
It’s time to get back out into the garden, chat with the neighbors over the fence, spruce up the garden, and enjoy the flowers.
Take the kids to the playground and meet up with friends there. A breath of fresh air for young and old alike.

And finally, put away the hat and gloves and swap them for a sun hat and gardening gloves.
Wake up the bikes from their winter slumber and dig out the roller skates.

And most importantly, when I drive to work and back home, it’s not dark. I’m out and about in daylight.

Spring is wonderful!

Finally not having to wear so many layers anymore (I’m pretty sensitive to the cold). Sitting on the balcony in the sun and... well, guess what?... doing crafts!

Oh yes, I love spring too as the most beautiful season, and I enjoy being outside as often as possible.
Sitting on the balcony or in the garden - with my knitting and crochet projects, of course.
Watching the birds build and the little flowers grow, having breakfast on the balcony again, going for walks without a jacket, enjoying the warm sunshine.
What especially delights me is hearing the blackbirds sing first thing in the morning. After all, that only happens for a few months of the year.
And then, of course, going out into nature again, with a picnic and a bicycle. That too is wonderful.

Basically, I think every season has something special to offer ;-)

But I love spring so much because you can see that not only is nature coming back to life, but people are too!

I actually think the word “fröhlich” (cheerful) comes from “Frühling” (spring) *hihi*
