This is perfect for going into "mass production," because you can never have enough scarves in every color—and it’s also a quick-to-crochet gift idea:
Crochet Möbius Cowl 1-2-3-4

for the soul warmer, approx. 500 g in the crochet version (approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needle size 6.0). This cowl
wonderfully spruces up sweaters and shirts.
It is crocheted from
approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with a yardage of 50 g – 160 m and hook/needle size 3 – 4 (shown here with a
3.5 mm crochet hook) and is quickly finished in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.
Other yarns with a suitable hook/needle size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.
The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.
For the
illustrated PDF pattern,
basic crochet knowledge is sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

And here is a
crocheted cozy piece incl. knitting version, whether in winter with arm/hand/leg warmers or for cool summer evenings or the transitional season (when the heating no longer really kicks on):
Soul Warmer and Warmers - crocheted like knitted - easy

One size - quick and easy. The image shows the crochet version.
Choice:
crocheted or knitted - whichever you prefer.
And yes, the
crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cozy and soft. But
knitters also get their money’s worth. The stitch patterns are very similar.
The
PDF pattern is thoroughly
illustrated over 23 pages and contains both the
crochet pattern and the
knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the various warmers.
General crochet or knitting knowledge is sufficient.
Basically,
any yarn you like can be used. Yarn consumption, depending on material and hook/needle size, up to approx. 1000 g.
My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the ball band for needle size 3 – 4,
but used here differently from the ball-band instructions: crochet hook size 8.0
- for the soul warmer, approx. 500 g in the crochet version (approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needle size 6.0),
- for the warmers, approx. 100 g in both versions
I hope you have lots of fun making it and a truly feel-good feeling with the finished piece.
