What to do with all the leftover yarn and crochet hooks? It’s simple—there’s plenty of room right here in this basket. You can easily take it anywhere and even make it taller.
This basket is also great for fruit or other small items. I have several of them in different color combinations that I take with me in the RV. The advantage: they’re lightweight and easy to store. So we have a bread basket, a fruit basket, and of course one for my balls of yarn.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Cotton yarn in 3 different colors of your choice (here: beige, dark blue, and red),
a size 3 crochet hook, and a yarn needle. This basket is also a great way to use up leftover balls of yarn. That’s exactly what I did here.
You’ll also need a size 3 crochet hook.
The pattern is very easy to follow, even for beginners, as long as you have some basic crochet skills. The edelweiss flower is explained step by step with photos.
The following basic skills are required:
- single crochet
- chain stitches
- slip stitches
- double crochet
- half double crochet
- post double crochet
- The magic ring is shown in detail in the pattern.
