Dear users, dear authors,
Just in time for the start of the weekend, I’m starting this thread with some lovely patterns for plenty of relaxation.
There are patterns for sewing enthusiasts, avid knitters, and crochet lovers—and we even have patterns for crafters. There’s sure to be something here for you, too.
Have fun browsing and trying out the projects.

@Authors
Please post patterns here that fit the theme. Include a link and an image,
and don’t forget to add text with information about the materials, the difficulty level, what makes the
pattern special, and the technique used. Have fun!

The weekend is saved :-) Emil wants to move in with you. Popular with young and old. Who could resist that look???
Approx. 120 g of yarn, 1 hook, stuffing, and 2 eyes. Single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. If you’ve crocheted an amigurumi now and then, you won’t have any problems with Emil.

Get started right away, and Emil will soon be living with you.
Have fun crocheting!

The Othello Family :-)
Looks like the little ones have pounced on Mom and Dad. A fluffy family to love.

https://www.crazypatterns.net/en/items/17775/haekelanleitung-schnuffelhund-othello

The big dog is crocheted with acrylic yarn (approx. 210g - 50g/133m) and the little ones with cotton yarn (approx. 95g - 100g/530m): chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet. Increases and decreases, and Othello is actually quick to crochet. Every amigurumi lover surely has some stuffing on hand, a long blunt needle, and you can either use teddy bear eyes or embroider them on. From 50 cm (standing) to 23 cm... or somewhere in between, if you use a different yarn. Othello is up for anything :-)
From beginners to pros... everyone will love Othello :-)
Have fun crocheting :-)

If you haven’t got bunny fever yet before Easter, you might feel like having a cup of tea with Miss Sara. You should bring a little crochet experience, but apart from that, Miss Sara is really a very easygoing, charming bunny lady.

You should have these things on hand:

• Cotton yarn in two similar shades (e.g. purple and lilac), as well as white and off-white, dark gray, and beige • A crochet hook in the appropriate size • Soft stuffing material (e.g. stuffing) • A yarn needle for weaving in ends and embroidering • approx. 60 cm of decorative lace ribbon or narrow silk ribbon in white or off-white • 1 small satin rose, approx. 10 mm in diameter • Color for the cheeks (blush, fabric marker, pastel chalk, or similar)

And here is the pattern:

Have fun and enjoy your weekend :-)

A simple, relaxing shawl is the Leviathan.
Also ideal for gradient cakes, which look even more elegant with a little contrasting yarn.

The shawl is knitted in garter stitch. This gives every beginner a quick and easy sense of achievement. For all advanced knitters, it offers the appeal of trying out contrasting colors.

The model can be knitted from size S to XXL; only the yardage of the yarn changes.

What do you need to know how to do?
  • cast on stitches
  • knit stitches
  • increase kfb (knit-front-back)
  • slip stitches
All this is included:
•suitable for beginners
•written knitting pattern
•sizes S - XXXL possible

You’ll need these materials at home:
•900 m 4-ply yarn from Wolle von Drachenstein
•200 m solid lace yarn from Wollmeise
•3.5 mm circular knitting needle (120 cm) •
scissors
•yarn needle

Even though spring is just around the corner, we still have to brave the cold season for a little while...
A poncho is a cozy way to do that!

The combination of cable and lace patterns—paired with this warm alpaca yarn quality—lets this shoulder warmer keep us warm whenever we need it.

This pattern is designed for sizes 36/38/40/42.
However, the included pattern piece and the gauge make it possible to work any size!

A detailed description as well as a chart in knitting chart form guide you through the pattern.
You will also find a precise schematic in the pattern.

For more details, simply click on the image below.

Finally, the workday is over!!!

Does this sound familiar? You’re tired and worn out, and you don’t have the energy for complicated patterns, so you just want to relax and quiet your mind.

In cases like this, I pick up my knitting needles, knit a few rows, and notice that I become calmer again.

Would you like to give it a try sometime?

Here I have a knitting pattern that can help you with that.

“Clouds,” a shawl that is also suitable for knitting beginners, will help you find your calm again.

I wish you a lovely, relaxing time, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

After work and the weekend, relaxing on the sofa with a beautiful knitting project—that’s when the pattern for the Mellon shawl comes in just right.

Mellon is Elvish and means friend. This beautiful, large wrap embraces every wearer like a friend, and like the hug of a good friend, it provides warmth and comfort.

It is ideal for many occasions, whether as an accessory with a transitional jacket or as a shoulder warmer on mild spring or autumn evenings. A good friend, in other words, who is there for you when you need him.

Required materials:

  • approx. 1200 - 1500 meters of sock yarn
  • several circular knitting needles of the same size or an interchangeable needle system, e.g. from Knitpro. The needle size should be adapted to the yarn used.
  • stitch markers
  • sewing needle
After washing and blocking, the size is approx. 220 x 70 cm.

The pattern is written in an easy-to-understand way and contains many pictures for the individual steps. It is 8 pages long. Difficulty level: easy.

Click here and get the great pattern for a relaxing knitting weekend.

With so many individual pieces, this flower ball is a perfect relaxing weekend activity. Putting the ball elements together takes a bit of concentration, but after that it's simply a matter of cutting them out, gluing them together, and attaching them to the ball.

The ball itself and the flowers on it are made from photo cardstock. The ball is about 19 cm in diameter and is very well suited for craft beginners with some experience.

Enjoy your evening off relaxing with a little handcrafting - nothing big, nothing complicated, nothing time-consuming, nothing where you have to count.
I have just the thing for you: very easy, uncomplicated doll clothes that you can conjure up from a few grams of yarn. This pretty doll clothing would be the highlight in your daughter’s or granddaughter’s Easter basket, wouldn’t it?

I wish you a relaxing evening off - Yours, "Ina strickt"
