Diamond Sweater from the 80s

Hello dear knitting and crochet enthusiasts!
In the 80s, my mother knitted me a beautiful diamond-pattern sweater. I’d love to have one like that again—but we no longer have the knitting pattern. The diamonds were each started separately, similar to the picture.
