Decorative Bag - Sheep --->> click here for the crochet pattern

This cute bag is not only great for children, but also a sweet Easter gift. You can store small items in it wonderfully, or even a lunch box. For crafters, it’s also a great way to carry needles and yarn with you.

Difficulty level: Easy to intermediate

What you need for it:

Gründl Happy Antipilling (100 g = 250 m yardage)

approx. 120-150 g white and a little black
Some stuffing material and safety eyes

You should know the basic stitches such as single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and also know how to make increases and decreases. In addition, this is also crocheted with loop stitches. You can find great tutorials for this on YouTube.

You can also find similar bags, e.g. a pig or horse, in my shop.
Animal Bags - Sheep    Many women love bags, and children also often need a small bag for lunch boxes or other little things. Why not a bag in a sheep design? This cuddly little sheep measures 18 x 12 cm (bag section) and can be enlarged or reduced as desired. A ball of yarn, crochet hook, sewing needles, and small items fit inside wonderfully when you are on the go, or even a lunch box for children. Lots of pictures and a detailed pattern. More animal bags will follow, e.g. pig, elephant, frog, etc. :)

Here’s a must-have for owl fans
Crocheted with cotton yarn with a length of 90 m and a 3.5 mm hook.

Since the owl eyes have shortened stems, it has an inner lining.
A zipper keeps everything from falling out, and as a little extra, the matching keychain is included...
It is crocheted in single crochet stitches in rounds.

Or as a drawstring bag... crocheted from cotton yarn starting with 125 chain stitches and a size 2.5 crochet hook, using only single crochet stitches.

...or if you’re more of an elephant lover, then I have a bag for you here.
It is also crocheted with cotton yarn with a length of 90 m and has a zipper.

A super cute mini shopper for little girls ♥
Very simple step-by-step instructions—also suitable for crochet beginners.
Of course, the heart charms are explained in detail as well.
The yarn used here is cotton (125m/50g): 100 g pink, 50 g light pink, 50 g light green, and scraps for the hearts.

The little Wiesn bag will make girls’ eyes light up too ♥
16 pages of detailed pattern with over 60 pictures - making it great for crochet beginners too :-)
With the specified yarn, the bag will be about 16 cm wide, 14 cm tall, and 6 cm deep.
With thicker yarn (e.g., Catania Grande), it’s also great for “big girls.”

This bag is crocheted in one piece, making it quite
easy to finish. Then just add 2 handles and it’s done.

It has a comfortable size of 30x20 cm. Perfect for quickly
doing a small shopping trip.

What do you need for it?
  • ONELine Linie 55 Montego (100 g/100 m LL) colors 36 52 23 and 46
  • Crochet hook 6.0 (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
Yarn used: about 290 g in total!
  • Light green 60 g
  • Dark green 60 g
  • White 70 g
  • Blue 110 g
Have fun crocheting.

Or how about this elegant bag?
This one may not be as quick and easy to crochet.
But it is chic and elegant, and if you crochet it in brighter colors,
it’s also hip and casual. The bag will end up measuring about 25x20 cm. Design your bag completely individually.
The material details are meant as inspiration,
but they can also be swapped out as you like.

This little colorful bag, measuring 20 x 9 x 19 cm, is ideal for children. It has a sturdy base so that nothing sags. You can use it to give small gifts, carry your doll around, or collect Easter eggs. Crochet it in your favorite colors. In pastel shades, it would be lovely for spring and Easter. You need a total of 100 g of Bravo yarn (leftovers would work too) and two crochet hooks (3 and 3.5). The crochet pattern is suitable for beginners because I show and describe everything step by step over 27 pages. We crochet chain stitches, single crochet stitches, and
double crochet stitches.
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting.
Warm regards - Yours, Ina

I’d also like to recommend a second favorite bag to you. It’s a child-friendly 21 x 11 x 11 cm and is crocheted from 100 g pink Bravo yarn and 50 g white Bravo yarn with a size 3.5 crochet hook. Across 20 pages, I show and describe everything in great detail. That’s why it’s also very well suited for crochet beginners. We crochet chain stitches and single crochet.
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting.

Warm regards - Yours, Ina

For bag-sewing enthusiasts, I’ve developed a few lovely designs, e.g. "roXXanne"

roXXanne is a very feminine handbag sewing pattern in three sizes. With its lacing on the front, roXXanne is an eye-catcher in every size. And you decide the style of your bag!

Style and design examples
During pattern testing, many variations, materials, and styles were tried out -
you can sew the bag to be sexy, playful, romantic, or however you like:
with or without lacing - you can skillfully show off beloved fabric scraps
or beautiful embroidery.

All design examples and inspirations were collected in an elaborate lookbook, which you can view here: https://issuu.com/thecraftingcafe/docs/roxxanne.lookbook_final

Sizes
You can sew roXXanne in the following sizes:
Size 1: 26cm x 19cm x 8cm  - e.g. as a cosmetic bag or small going-out handbag
Size 2: 36cm x 26cm x 10cm - the practical everyday one for the office and on the go
Size 3: 42cm x 32cm x 15cm - the large shopper for everyday use, the office, on the go, and all moms :)

Skill level
All three sizes can vary in difficulty: you can sew them as
shown in the illustrated sewing instructions, with an internal
zipper facing, or replace it with a magnetic snap.

You can leave out the lacing and either divide the front into three sections to
show off a beautiful fabric scrap, for example, OR you can also cut the
front piece from one piece. There are countless
possibilities! It’s best to try them all! ;)

What’s included
The eBook includes 56 pages of illustrated step-by-step sewing instructions
plus the sewing patterns for the three bag sizes.

Support
If you have any problems or questions, I’ll of course be happy to help! On
my blog http://crafting-cafe.blogspot.de I’m also planning add-ons, such as a stroller strap
that you can use to complement roXXanne in size 3
very nicely!

Usage rights
The eBook permits commercial sewing and selling of up to
15 pieces. I have no objection if someone wants to sell more (quite the
opposite!). You can request a sales license from me for that—many
thanks!

The "Little Beetle" is a clever kindergarten bag that can also be sewn as an adult handbag
—for example, as a mommy-and-child combo. It stands out with its double flaps—the wings ;).
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/16070/kindergartentasche-naehen-schnittmuster-und-naehanleitung

This sewing pattern is suitable for beginners. The bag is not hard to sew, but in its full version it is very time-consuming!

If you have questions or run into problems, I’ll be happy to help you on my blog.

Style and design options
Anyone who loves adding decorative touches will be in their element when sewing this: On the one hand, the design itself invites patchwork (because of the double flap); on the other, the ebook includes various ways to let your creativity run wild: Whether woven ribbons, plotter designs, embroidery, appliqués—the Little Beetle can be sewn completely simple and plain or totally pimped up: YOU decide the look of this bag!

You can sew your Little Beetle in three versions: with both flaps, with just one flap, or with no flaps at all—the last version is the "easiest".

In addition, the Little Beetle can be equipped with various extras, e.g.
... with a small secret compartment,... a key finder,
... slip pockets on the front (e.g., for friendship books or letters from kindergarten)
... and on the side (e.g., for pens in the adult version),
... a ring for a bag charm,
... one or more pipings,
... a ruffle, and
... an adjustable strap

The detailed, photo-illustrated sewing instructions comprise almost 50 pages and are set up like a "modular system"—each part CAN be embellished, but doesn’t have to be. Included are many small tutorials, such as
attaching a magnetic snap, an adjustable strap, and sewing in a concealed zipper pocket.

The sewing pattern and sewing instructions were thoroughly tested in a pattern test.
The Little Beetle measures approx. 25 cm x 25 cm x 6 cm. It fits a lunch box and a drinking bottle pretty much exactly.
