Have you caught bobbel fever and are now looking for the perfect pattern for it?
Then I have just the right thing for you here:

The crochet pattern "Dance with Dolphins"!

Dance with Dolphins is a beautiful lace shawl with alternating patterns, crocheted from top to bottom. The patterns are very easy and suitable for beginners; you only need basic crochet skills.

What you need:

  • a bobbel with approx. 1200 - 1300 meters of yardage (3- or 4-ply, e.g. from 100Farbspiele)
  • crochet hook in the appropriate size (if you crochet tightly, it’s better to choose one size larger)
  • sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • scissors
Finished size after blocking approx. approx. 200 x 90 cm, so a really lovely large cozy shawl.

The pattern has 21 pages and includes written instructions and charts.

And the best part: Right now you can save up to 25% on the pattern price!

Do you still have a “leftover yarn cake”? You can use that too—knit these very
pretty wrist warmers with a spiral pattern from it. The knitting pattern isn’t difficult because it repeats over and over,
it’s the same in every round.
Find your leftovers (approx. 40 g)  and get started right away—it’s fun!

Even beginners can achieve great results with gradient yarn cakes.

My favorite pattern for them is the Magnolia Shawl. With it, you can knit yourself a wonderful large cozy shawl.
It is knitted with knit stitches, and the color gradient keeps the knitting exciting.

Materials needed:

  • 1 yarn cake with 1100 meters of gradient yarn, 4-ply
  • 1 circular knitting needle size 4
  • 4 stitch markers
  • 1 needle for weaving in ends
  • 1 pair of scissors

There are even more patterns for the popular yarn cakes in the shop.

I hope you have lots of fun trying it out, and I’m happy to help if you have any questions.

Best wishes,

Christa

Dragon tail, crocheted.
Easy to crochet, lots of detailed photos, thorough explanation.
For this dragon tail, I used a gradient cake from 100farbspiele.
You can crochet your dragon tail as long as you like or as long as your yarn lasts.

My absolute favorite among crocheted patterns where a Bobbel really shows itself off beautifully is the Esmeralda.

A Bobbel with 1000–1200 m yardage is needed for size 36/38. The yardage increases accordingly for larger sizes. I’m happy to advise you here!

What do you need to know?
  • chain stitches
  • double crochet
  • clusters
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • slip stitches
  • back post half double crochet

A beautiful pattern, especially for working with gradient yarn cakes, is the pattern for the crocheted scarf "Peara".

The scarf is crocheted diagonally, so it drapes especially beautifully when worn. Small incorporated beads give it a special highlight. The scarf can be varied in length and width, so it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.

You don’t need any special crochet skills. For incorporating the beads, the pattern includes a detailed photo tutorial.

Required materials:

  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • Crochet hook suitable for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use one size larger)
  • Beads (e.g., rocailles – the hole should be large enough so that it
  • doesn’t sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for stringing the beads
  • Sewing needle for weaving in ends
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial for crocheting the beads into the edge and the floral pattern, a written-out version, and charts.

Difficulty level: easy

And best of all: You can currently save up to 25% on the pattern price!

The Half Granny in a new look! Ideal for a yarn cake with 500 m yardage.

The pattern Medusa is written out and includes a complete electronic crochet chart. This means every beginner can easily create their own personal showpiece in just a few hours. A yarn cake gives the whole thing an extra kick of color.

A beautiful, brand-new pattern for using "Bobbel" yarn cakes is the crochet pattern for the triangular shawl "Fuego".

Fuego means fire in Spanish, and the pattern in this beautiful lace shawl looks just like little flames flickering upward.

The shawl is crocheted from top to bottom. Since the pattern consists only of single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet, it is wonderfully suitable for beginners.

Materials needed:

  • approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g. lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “Bobbel” made from plied yarn)
  • crochet hook size 3–3.5
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
Finished shawl dimensions: approx. 180 x 80 cm.

The pattern is 10 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing. Difficulty level: easy.

And the best part: Right now you can save up to 25% on the pattern price!

Bobbel fever?
You’ll find lots of Anleitungen für Farbverlaufsbobbel from me.
Brand new is the pattern "Time for the Island"!

The shawl is knitted from one Bobbel with 800 m of yardage, though it can also be a little shorter or longer.
You should already know how to knit a little; the most difficult stitches are: twisted knit stitches, stitches knitted together, cast-on in the middle of the knitted fabric.

The pattern is designed in detailed written instructions and with my already familiar letter abbreviations, and it also includes knitting charts, especially for the two shell patterns.

  • Material: 800 m North Sea Coast by Maggie P, 4-ply wound, merino, circular knitting needle size 4
  • Size of the blocked shawl: approx. 212 x 83 cm

Here’s the pattern

Who hasn't been there?
It's spring, and you just don't know what to wear.
With heavy clothes it's too warm, with summer clothes it's too cold...

Luckily, there are garments that are perfect for both purposes!
Like my new cowl "Elegancia"!

Wrapped around your neck twice, it's a nice accessory for any season; wrapped around your neck 3 times, it keeps you absolutely reliably warm!

What you need:

♦ 3-ply gradient yarn made of 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, approx. 1000 m (I used the yarn cake "Shades of Grey" by "Little favorites by Rea".)

♦ Crochet hook: 3 mm

♦ Sewing needle to weave in the beginning and end threads

You should be familiar with the following: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, puff stitches
For the puff stitches, I have included a separate PDF in which this type of stitch is briefly explained.

And here’s the pattern!

I hope you have lots of fun making it! :)
