Yarn Recommendations for a Themed Blanket

My daughter has a very special request. She wants me to make her a large, cozy blanket with a horse motif. She’s picked out a dun horse with shades of yellow and ochre.

But we can’t seem to find any yarn that matches her color preferences.
It needs to be a yarn that I can crochet with a 3.5 (max. 4) hook.
And please, it needs to be machine-washable.
And I shouldn’t forget to mention that the yarn needs to be cozy and soft. She also doesn’t want any gradient yarn—it has to be a single solid color (my daughter’s exact words).

The yarn selection should include at least three shades that transition from a muted yellow to ochre, so I can crochet the shadows on the horse nicely.
Oh, and for the background, she wants a flower meadow, so three to four shades of green would be great, too.

I’d say: dye it yourself...
Seriously.
If you buy wool that’s free of synthetic fibers or has only a small amount of synthetic fibers, in white or undyed (washable wool, of course!), and then dye it with Easter egg dye or other food coloring and vinegar, you can choose the color shades yourself.
