Super-easy patterns / suitable for kids

Kids often enjoy crafts, and of course they need patterns that are a breeze—ones that don’t cause any major problems when following along. This thread is the place for that.

These folding boxes are highly recommended for crafting with kids: They’re glued in just one spot, so they’re quick to make.


 
The boxes can be made in any color of cardstock, filled with small gifts, and then decorated with ribbons, string, raffia, pom-poms, flowers, stickers (or whatever else you have on hand)—there are no limits to your imagination here. 

Ideal for children is the crochet pattern Hat Quick + Easy + Chic:
With a size 10 crochet hook and bulky yarn, you work only with the basic stitches (ch, sl st, sc, hdc).
Even so, the hat looks great with the pattern, and together with a pom-pom it becomes a real eye-catcher.

Required materials:
Yarn weight 10 (e.g., Schachenmayr Bravo Big), approx. 100-200g (depending on size)
Crochet hook size 10
Faux fur pom-pom or possibly a pom-pom maker
