Are there any crochet shoe patterns for adults, too?

Here on Crazypatterns, there are tons of patterns for cute baby shoes, both for knitting and crocheting. Are there any patterns there that would work for adult shoe sizes, or have I just not found them yet?

Summer doesn’t last forever, and it would be nice to have warm feet in the winter. So I thought I’d like to make some “shoes” like that for myself.
Of course, I’d prefer to skip the childish embellishments and stuff like that. Something a bit simpler, really :)

Is it theoretically possible for me to take a pattern for baby booties that I like and then scale it up until it fits me? My shoe size is 38/39. Women are known for having cold feet, after all. :)

Why don’t you try scaling up a baby pattern?

This is a specialty of mine because I love slippers that you can wash. If you search for “Junghans-Wolle,” you should find a good crochet pattern. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me—I’ve already made several styles, from slippers to boots, for the house, the couch, or bed, with or without non-slip soles (so you don’t slip).

I’m working on a new pair right now. What kind of slippers would you like to make? Do you have a house with tile floors or an apartment with carpet? If you have tile, you should (must) incorporate a double sole—otherwise, they’ll be too cold.
