Valentine's Day (no advertising thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
Valentine's Day is coming up soon.
How do you plan to spend Valentine's Day?
Have you already recreated any heart-themed patterns?

Since Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday, I’ll unfortunately be at work. I’ll see if I can leave a little early.
Maybe I’ll bring my husband some chocolate home. I know his favorites—I just have to make sure the kids don’t eat it all before he even gets it.

I haven’t gotten around to making any hearts yet. Although, when I asked my husband if I should make him something, he said “no.” But it was the first time he actually gave it some thought.
It’ll be fine—someday I’ll get to make him something by hand, too.

I’m definitely going to use the idea for the hearts, though, because my little daughter will surely be very happy about them, whether it’s Valentine’s Day or not.
My son is more like his dad and would prefer some chocolate—a 300g bar of Milka Noisette....

My husband and I aren’t big on Valentine’s Day. It’s the only day of the year we never go out to eat! :-) I often get something unexpectedly—if my husband sees something or feels like giving me flowers, then I get something. And that’s much nicer than just getting something on Valentine’s Day. And I do the same—if I see something for him, I buy it. Though that does happen quite a bit more often :-)

I never want to get flowers for Valentine’s Day—I don’t see why they should be more expensive just because it’s Valentine’s Day. We’ll all be giving each other chocolate, and maybe we’ll go out for Chinese food again (I’m already craving it).
