Chicks and the Easter bunny aren’t just cute table decorations—they also hide a little surprise. Inside their bellies is the shell of a surprise egg. You can hide small candies or a monetary gift inside. They’re crocheted using fuzzy yarn, but can also be made with any other type of yarn.

Whether you hang this decorative egg or display it standing up—it looks absolutely lovely either way. And it’s not difficult to make either; you just need a little crafting experience, some practice using a craft knife, nimble fingers, and patience while cutting out the pieces.


 
The egg is made from photo cardstock and measures approximately 19.5 x 28 cm. The basic shapes are cut out using the templates, so there’s no need to trace them onto the photo cardstock.

What would Easter be without a sheep? You’ve got to love Lily!! A sheep you just want to cuddle…
Lily is crocheted in single crochet. The size may vary depending on the thickness of the yarn. Use filet yarn or mohair, synthetic yarn, or just whatever you have lying around at home.  Anything goes. Just use the right hook and some stuffing. Lily is relatively quick to crochet, but she’d also be happy to pop up all over your home in lots of different colors :-)
