***Question of the Week*** How’s your crafting going? (No advertising thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
how’s your crafting going? Are your sewing machines humming away? Are your knitting needles clacking? Are your crochet hooks in use, too? Are your craft scissors working well?

My snow shovel was clattering away all morning today.

I started a little hat today and crocheted a bunny ear. For some reason, I just can’t seem to get going today. I’ll pick it up again tomorrow evening :)

Sorry, I’m crocheting… can’t reply ;-) And as for shoveling snow… I’m lucky to have a nice neighbor :-)
I just didn’t feel up to it today ;-)

As always, I'm busy with my needlework :-).... my little project is sitting nicely next to me—still headless, but at least it's grown a bit—and the rest of the family gets to shovel snow.... I clearly have the more sensible job ;-)

We don’t have any snow, so no one needs to shovel snow. Yesterday we had freezing rain here (and on my only free weekend, no less), so you couldn’t go outside because it was insanely slippery. So I went up to the attic to my sewing machine (since my husband was watching some nonsense on TV) and sewed myself an origami bag and a book bag. The storage bag for my husband’s bike helmet is also finished and waiting for the knitted drawstring. I always do that on the side—it’s boring.
I kept crocheting on my poncho, but now I’m taking a break from it and moving on to a scarf. Tomorrow on the train, I’ll crochet a mouse. The scarf and poncho are too big for the train.
I don’t like working on just one project—I need a change of pace.

I’m currently working on several larger crochet projects.
Well, large for me, since I’m still experimenting a bit myself... haha
But it’s going pretty well, and everything is slowly taking shape.
Yay....
But when you spend several hours crocheting over the weekend, it’s almost like working. It’s just that when you’re doing crafts, you don’t even notice how fast time flies. And just like that, the weekend is over again—great..... And nothing’s finished!

My needles got a break today :)
Sledding and building an igloo with Mini-Me were on the agenda. It’s her first real snow, and that’s way more exciting than a mom who’s busy crafting. ^^

I spent the whole day crocheting and tinkering with a new shape. By evening, I’d figured it out—now the project is taking shape just the way I imagined.

Other than that, I helped my son with his math homework. We’ve got tons of snow, too. But my husband has a snowblower and always gets really excited when he gets to put it to work. So I’m spared the task of shoveling.

My crochet hook is working overtime. I’m making a light, airy shawl for spring. :-)

I used the weekend to make my crochet hook fly.

I crocheted a thick winter cowl, a thin cowl, and finished my poncho.

I finished my new circle dress/tunic today.
And now I’m working on the pattern.
Bring on summer!

My current projects are a shawl and an amigurumi—depending on whether I feel like crocheting tightly or loosely.
Yesterday I finished the second arm and started on the head; let’s see how far I’ll get today... Since school has started again and vacation is over, I can only crochet in the evenings now...

I’ve got a bit too much on my plate right now and haven’t been able to do as much crafting as I’d like. Still, I’ve crocheted 13 little hearts to decorate gift certificates, as well as two snowflakes, started a pair of wrist warmers, and just sewed a little bag to hold cookies. My husband took care of shoveling the snow—now the rain’s washing the rest away anyway!
