How often are you online? (No advertising thread)

Dear users, dear authors,
I’d like to know how often per day/week/month you’re online, whether you read the forum every time you visit or tend to spend more time in the store, your own shop, or browsing the patterns. How long do you stay online on average?

Who’d like to share their thoughts on this?

Oh boy.... I think it’s easier to list when I’m not online—namely at night, when I’m sleeping. ;-))
No, seriously, with a few exceptions, I’m practically always online. I also check my emails several times a day.
My goal is to be available to my customers at all times and to be able to respond to their questions promptly.
I think that’s very important.

even if I’m not always sitting right in front of it… the laptop is on :-)

I regularly check to see what’s new, even if I don’t always chime in.
My emails make a loud sound when they come in anyway.

Yes ... I think that's probably the case for many authors. 
I'm online all the time too. It naturally rules itself out while eating and sleeping, but thanks to smartphones, you can always take a quick look now and then.
Generally, of course, the first thing I check is whether I have a message in my inbox, but I also look at the forum almost every time.

I’m also on Crazypatterns a few times a day.

I check to see what’s new on the forum, if there are any new free crochet patterns, browse through the patterns, and see if any patterns on my watchlist have been marked down in the meantime ;-)

I have to admit, I hardly ever use or read the blogs...

I’m not online all the time—that’s just not possible because of family and work—but normally I check for new messages and look at the forum at least once a day.
And thanks to my smartphone, I can also check in now and then without having to boot up my computer or be at home.

Definitely way too often online! My New Year’s resolution: Spend much less time in the virtual world and more time in the real world! I’ve realized that I simply can’t concentrate on my work when I’m constantly being interrupted or feel like I have to be available all the time. Customer service certainly won’t suffer as a result, and I think it’s reasonable to expect customers to wait a few hours for a response to a question every now and then. At least, I hope people will understand. We’ll see how well I can stick to my resolutions.....

But I just think it’s important to stay informed!
I don’t want to miss any customer inquiries.

The forum is actually always the first place I check to see if there’s any important news or new promotional threads.

Well, I think that’s the case for all of us who take this seriously ;-)

I’m on the computer daily from about 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. First I read my emails, then the newspaper, and after that I check out various forums.

With a smartphone, you can stay up to date all the time.

I always get a notification for emails; otherwise, I check the forum every 1–2 hours, look at the new arrivals about twice a day, and check the gallery about every 3–4 days :)
