One of my favorite dragon-tail shaped shawls is the Feanor shawl.
With the fringe knitted on as you go, it looks really snazzy and works beautifully in any color and yarn.
The fringe can be made entirely to your own preferences: long or short, knotted or smooth, decorated with beads or buttons....
The shawl can look new and different again and again and is guaranteed never to get boring.

The shawl is knitted. Any yarn can be used; gradient cakes look especially great for this. You will need approx. 600 - 800 meters, depending on the desired size. The shawl can be knitted in any size.
You will also need an 80 cm circular knitting needle and a crochet hook in the appropriate size.

The Itty-Bitty shawl is a real dragon shawl with a serrated edge.

It consists of many different small stitch patterns that can be combined in any order.
The decreases on one side give it its great dragon-like points.
Thanks to the many different patterns, knitting this shawl stays very varied. If you prefer something less complicated, just knit the simpler patterns and leave out the slightly more complicated ones. That makes this pattern ideal for everyone, from beginners to experts.

You’ll need about 600–1,000 meters of yarn in your preferred color and weight. Gradient yarn cakes are also ideal for this, but other yarns can be used as well.
You’ll also need a circular knitting needle in a suitable size.

The size of the shawl can be adjusted individually; simply finish it when it is large enough.

A beautiful crocheted shawl of mine is my “Key West.” It got its name because the pattern, with its arches, looks like the journey to Key West—one bridge after another......

Crocheted, for example, using Schachenmayr Fashion Soft Mix (30% alpaca, 113 m / 25 g), using a size 5 hook and 35 pattern repeats, the shawl measures 167 x 58 cm.

Of course, you can crochet this shawl with any yarn and in any size. The 7-page pattern also explains clearly how to make this shawl larger.



The pattern is easy to remember because it only spans two rows. You start with the long side, and with each row, you have fewer stitches to work with.

 Asymmetrical Triangle Shawl
This triangle shawl is fun to knit because it’s worked in 3 stages; you’ll need about 800 m
of yarn for 2.5–3 mm needles—it looks great in many colors!
The pattern is easy to follow and is worked entirely in garter stitch.

The knitted shawl "Mellon" is truly large and cozy.

Mellon is the Elvish word for friend, and like a good friend, this beautiful large shawl gives you warmth and a sense of comfort.

Materials needed:

• approx. 1200 - 1500 meters of yarn in sock yarn weight (less accordingly if using thicker yarn)
• several circular knitting needles in the same size (I recommend an interchangeable needle system)
  
• stitch markers

• sewing needle

Perfect for the season:
Winter Dream is a cozy triangular shawl made with Alpaca Fino by Pascuali. You’ll need 2 solid-color skeins and 1 multicolored skein. Alpaca Fino is made of 100% alpaca and is therefore very cozy.
There is also an extension for Merino Baby by Pascuali; for this you’ll need 100 g solid-color and 50 g multicolored yarn.
The shawl consists of several individual patterns, which are described in detail line by
line. Individual patterns are additionally explained with a
chart.
For easy understanding, there are illustrated explanations.

The following skills are required:
k - knit stitches
p - purl stitches
yo - yarn over
kfb - knit 2 out of 1 stitch
bo - bind off
k2tog - knit 2 stitches together
ssk - slip 1 stitch, knit 1 stitch, and pass the
slipped stitch over








 

Mosaik is a shawl that is knitted from one side to the other. Different patterns alternate.
Increases are made with KFB in every right-side and wrong side row.
They are simple patterns where basic knowledge is completely sufficient.
The patterns are explained in detail, partly with charts, and are no problem even for beginners.
I got the yarn (Pascuali Bio Cotton) from the dyer Gesa Drechsler, who has the group Buttjebeyy on Facebook. Gesa dyes only with natural dyes.
You will need 3x 100g, each 300 m yardage

Ocean Beach


Ocean Beach reminds me of the ocean with its waves and the beach with all its colors.
It is a crocheted triangular shawl that isn’t quite so pointy.

The size can be adjusted easily—the model shown was made from approx. 170 g of sock yarn.
You should know how to make chain stitches, double crochet, and crochet double crochets together—the rest is described in the 34-page pattern with lots of photos, so even advanced beginners can crochet this shawl.

Mirabella


A lovely, large shawl to snuggle up in...

The size can be adjusted very easily. - About 350 g of microfiber yarn was used for the shawl shown.

The pattern includes illustrated instructions for crocheting Mirabella. You should be familiar with chain stitches, slip stitches, double crochets, treble crochets, and cluster stitches.

With the SOLVEIG triangular shawl, you create the color gradients yourself! They are created by alternating pattern stripes with 2 colors, and the patterns themselves are very easy to knit! The shawl was knitted with Malabrigo Sock, a 4-ply sock yarn made from wonderfully soft, hand-dyed merino wool. Of course, you can use any other yarn of a similar weight (yardage approx. 400 m/50 g).

The asymmetrical dragon-tail shawl Mephiraso is crocheted with a raised rib pattern, which makes the shawl look thick. Between the raised ribs, there is a small lace pattern stripe. In addition, a lace row is worked throughout.

The pattern includes a crochet chart that you need to follow.

For the shawl, you should use a thicker yarn with a yardage of at least 150 m/50 g so that the raised pattern stands out nicely.

Knitting pattern Dragon Tail Goban


This way to the pattern

This checkerboard pattern, alternating with a few garter stitch rows, is suitable for beginning knitters.

To knit this dragon tail, you will need

100 g of 4-ply Bobbel yarn made of 50% cotton and 50% polyacrylic, as well as a size 3 to 3.5 circular knitting needle.
I used the Bobbel yarn Cinnamon here, which is available from Traumgarne .

The measurements of the dragon tail are as follows:
narrow side: 16 cm
wide side: 70 cm
length: approx. 102 cm
