Good morning
Today is the first official workday (crafting day). My “4 Colors” project has begun. It’s going well.
I’m also making little things from leftover yarn.
Wishing everyone a great crafting year. Lots of joy and great success with your beautiful creations.
Good morning. Yesterday was a really nice, laid-back day at our house. I had plenty of time to crochet. I crocheted some thick socks for myself using a cozy but very colorful yarn that was once in a surprise package. Then I finished up a birthday gift for a friend (slippers), and now I’m crocheting myself a scarf—also with yarn from that surprise package. My resolution for this year is to work through my yarn stash...
I’ve had a terrible cold since New Year’s Eve, so I’m a bit under the weather. But I can still move my fingers and type—so I’m diligently working on my contribution to the February event.
I actually managed to finally crochet the blanket for my niece over the holidays... I’m writing up the pattern right now.... yes, my dears, for once it’s not a bag or a little animal :-)
Hello, I wish everyone a happy new (crafting) year, good health, and lots of joy. I’ve made a firm resolution to finally finish my UFOs, but I already have lots of new ideas: a crocheted mesh bag as a birthday gift for a friend, a sewn little flower pouch for a neighbor’s birthday, a baby cardigan for a former student… With CrazyPatterns, none of this is a problem—thanks!
Right on January 1st, I finished the star doily for my little one and finally sewed the back spikes onto the dragon. And the big patchwork quilt is finally sewn together—all that’s missing now is the border.
And now I’m eagerly waiting for the yarn delivery so I can finally get started on the February campaign. Everything’s ready—the idea, the sample, the pattern. Just the right colors are still missing!
At first, I was crocheting my Christmas tablecloth. But since the weather is so cold and staying that way, I started a poncho and am almost finished with it.
I’m on my third week of vacation, so I have the time and the desire to crochet. I’d also like to work through my yarn stash. Right now, I’m crocheting granny square bags. They’re great for using up scraps.
I’m glad that crocheting is fun again—it makes me both happy and relaxed.♡♡♡
Hello, I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.
I’ve been having some discomfort in my arm for a few weeks, so unfortunately I had to put my crafts on hold. But now I’ve started crocheting a wreath for the door.
Kind regards, Andrea
After a few hiccups at the start of the year (due to all the holidays), things are going really well for me again now, and my crochet hook has been flying in the evenings.
I have a few new ideas I’d like to try out once I finish my current project, and then all my unfinished projects are waiting to be completed.
