Start thinking about spring or summer now

A dream poncho for summer
A beautiful and easy-to-follow pattern, the perfect poncho for spring and summer when it’s still a bit chilly - ideal for
gradient yarn cakes - one size for women’s sizes 38 to 44
Materials: 4.5 mm crochet hook and 4-ply Bobbel yarn with a yardage of 1400 m

This poncho is also suitable for beginners, but it probably shouldn’t be your very first project. You should already have a little practice and confidence with the basic crochet stitches.

How about the knitted Varya hat, for example?
It is knitted flat and in rows, and you don’t need a set of double-pointed needles or even a measuring tape. You don’t have to calculate any stitches for the circumference; you simply start knitting until the hat fits around the head. So it knits up really quickly for “small” and “large” heads. ☺

Materials needed:

• approx. 70 grams of yarn for needle size 6–7 or approx. 140 meters (e.g. MyBoshi Goat or similar yarn; please note the yardage)
• knitting needles size 6–7
• 2 stitch markers
• measuring tape
• scissors
• sewing needle
• some leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
• crochet hook

What do you need to know?

• knit stitches
• purl stitches
• brioche stitch

The garter ridge and the provisional cast-on are explained in detail in the pattern.
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate.
