Winter still has us firmly in its grip, but spring is sure to come!
Now is exactly the right time to knit yourself a poncho. But not just any poncho! How about a swoncho?
The Swoncho Nessa is the perfect combination of poncho and sweater!
Thanks to its knitted-on cuffs, it always fits perfectly, nothing slips, and you’re well prepared for the first mild days of spring.

What do you need?

• approx. 400 grams of “Lippenbekenntnis” Best of by Schoppel (yardage 420 m / 100 g) or similar yarn with the same yardage
  
• circular knitting needle 3.5–4.5 (I recommend an interchangeable cable system, e.g. by KnitPro, because toward the end there will be a lot of stitches on the needle and you will need a very long cable)
  
• 9 stitch markers (8 for the raglan increases and one for joining in the round)
  
• sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  
• measuring tape
  
• a piece of leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
  
• crochet hook for the provisional cast-on
  
• optionally a set of double-pointed needles in 3.5–4.5

I designed the swoncho for sizes 40–44, but it can be individually adjusted to any size. You only need to measure the neck circumference, sleeve length, and wrist width.
The pattern is 7 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing.
