Wonderfully warming, for body and soul, is the knitted Nelthil cowl.
It has a triangular shape, so it’s quick to drape and always fits perfectly. Thanks to its shape, it especially warms the neck and décolleté.

You’ll need:

• 120 grams of yarn (e.g., MyBoshi Goat or a similar yarn) = approx. 250 meters
• Size 6 circular knitting needle
• Stitch markers
• Scissors
• Sewing needle

The cowl is started with just a few stitches at the lower tip and knitted straight upward. It gets its shape through regular increases.
Finished size after blocking: approx. 63 cm (length) x 30 cm (neck diameter)

Required skills:
Basic skills, accentuated decrease, full brioche stitch

The pattern includes written instructions, charts, and a schematic drawing. Easy difficulty level.

Click here and get the great knitting pattern!

I have something lovely and brand new that warms your feet and your soul. These felted slippers simply mean being at home and getting cozy. Felting wool is simply the best thing there is for slippers: temperature-regulating, pleasantly warming without making you sweat, breathable, shock-absorbing, doesn’t get dirty, and so on.
And these are knitted quickly in one piece; the washing machine takes care of the felting. You can choose colors and decorative buttons to your heart’s content. In the 38-page pattern, you’ll find all the details and a precise step-by-step description. It is very well suited for knitting and felting beginners.
Feel free to take a look at the sample photos. Here’s the pattern for the One-Step Felt Booties.

Best wishes, and “Ina strickt” hopes you enjoy the pattern!

Third, I’d like to recommend a free pattern from my shop. I really like the twisted children’s hat “Spiralibus” because it’s quick and easy to knit and always turns heads—everyone asks how it was made or where they can buy one. The best part is, you have the pattern and can make one yourself! Just download the pattern and get started!

Best regards, and enjoy the pattern — “Ina strickt”

Just went online:

Hestia - Crocheted baby and toddler blanket

In Greek mythology, Hestia is the goddess of domestic life. She is actually symbolized by the hearth fire, but since she is the symbol of the home where newborn babies
wait to be received and welcomed by the family, she was the
perfect namesake for this baby blanket.

The pattern combines the classic granny pattern with filet crochet, making it very suitable for beginners. You only need to master the basic techniques listed.

Thanks to the filet pattern, the blanket is very light. Folded double, it is still cozy and warm. Measuring 1.50 x 1.50 m, your little treasure will enjoy it well into toddlerhood.

What do you need to know?
·        Magic Ring (optional)
·        chain stitches
·        slip stitches
·        double crochet
·        half double crochet
·        single crochet
·        basics of filet crochet

I’d like to use this thread to introduce my little angel and little devil pattern to you.

Why do I think this pattern fits this theme?
Because I’ve had exactly that experience.
The little angel is sitting with my great-grandmother in a nursing home, and she proudly tells everyone that it’s a handmade little doll.
It also doesn’t go a single day without someone (caregivers, visitors, ...) holding the little doll in their hands.

Besides the little angel, you can also crochet the little devil with this pattern. Together, the two make the perfect toy for children :)

So that even more little angels and little devils can spread joy, the pattern is now available for free.

What you’ll need:

♦ Crochet yarn of your choice in different colors, about 20–25 g each

♦ A crochet hook that matches the yarn

♦ Stuffing

♦ Safety eyes (if desired)

♦ A sewing needle

♦ Wire (if desired) for support

The file does not include a basic tutorial. You should already know the following: crocheting in the round, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, changing colors

But now I don’t want to keep talking for too long.
Get the pattern here and try it out for yourself :)
