Paper snowflakes are a popular choice for window decorations in winter. These snowflakes offer even more decorative possibilities: They’re really large (approx. 30 cm in diameter) and cut from photo cardstock, so you can not only attach them to windows but also hang them from nylon thread as room decorations or use them instead of a decorative doily.



You don’t need any crafting experience to make these snowflakes, but you must be able to use a craft knife.

I’d like to share a lovely little crocheted decoration idea that fits in any child’s room and is sure to brighten your day: a colorful little bucket for pens or odds and ends. You’ll need: lots of small scraps of cotton yarn, a suitable crochet hook, and a plastic bucket from the supermarket (about 13.5 cm tall). The pattern includes both models. They’re perfect for beginners. We hardly have to weave in any ends either—I’ll show you how it’s done.

Beautiful decor ... that is certainly always also a lovely individual basket that holds our yarn treasures. This way we can conveniently park our handmade projects on the couch. Here is a favorite basket of mine: the round, colorful bobble basket.
