Knit Socks Without an Annoying Heel, Size 38/39

Warm socks in winter are perfect.
These socks have a very special heel that is super easy to knit.


Material needed: 100 g of variegated yarn, e.g. from Gründl socks. Color of your choice. You need to know: knitting in the round with a set of double-pointed needles. You need to know knit and purl stitches. For the cuff, you also need to pick up stitches from the strand between stitches, and do a slip-over decrease. Have fun knitting and enjoy your warm feet.

This poncho with matching Möbius loop scarfis  really warm and quick and easy to crochet... (I had both pieces finished in one weekend).

With this crochet method, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn 100 g – 100 m and an 8.0 mm crochet hook . The pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and has photos, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.
By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you make is mirrored, i.e., one horizontal half appears like the right outer side, while the second half appears like the wrong inner side of the pattern.
This creates clever effects, depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

You can never have too many arm warmers.

The texture of these arm warmers comes from slipped stitches and two different yarns.
This pattern is also great for using up yarn scraps.

You’ll need the following materials:

• 1 set of double-pointed needles size 3
• 50 gr. Lana Gatto in dark brown
• 20 g Hedgehog Fibres sock yarn
• 1 stitch marker
• 1 needle to weave in ends
• 1 pair of scissors

It’s supposed to get cooler again in the next few days. Time to quickly crochet a few wrist warmers.

This vest is knitted with two strands held together, weighs only about 300 g, and fits over any blouse or sweater—basically in any season.

The pattern contains the images from the picture gallery and is written in text form. It is written for size 36/38 , but can be very easily adapted to larger sizes. How to convert the
gauge to individual measurements is described.

These knitting skills are required:
casting on and binding off stitches, knit and purl stitches, simple cabling (described), edge stitches, knitting stitches together, increases from the strand between stitches.

We need:
200 g 4-ply sock yarn (e.g., Schoeller+Stahl Fortissima Mexiko Color 60% virgin wool, 25% bamboo, 15% PAM) as well as 100 g Kid Silk by Austermann (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g – 225 m for needle size 3-4 according to the ball band), knitting needle 6.0 mm, cable needle (auxiliary needle), measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends; a row counter is helpful.
