My daughter is sitting right next to me right now and says we absolutely have to make something like this. Let’s see how many ornaments we have on the Christmas tree this year, and as soon as we find a coat hanger, we’ll get started!

That’s pretty clever… I think I’ll have to quickly pick up a few inexpensive ornaments tomorrow… I already have the right hangers :)
And then I can decorate my new front door—even though we won’t be able to move in until late January/early February…

Thanks, Josefa, that’s a great idea.
If you don’t have a wire coat hanger, you could probably use garden wire instead; that should be easier to bend, too.

I’ve noticed that you really should use plastic ornaments, since the ornaments press and push against each other… they can slip out of their holders, and just like that… another one’s broken…

So, after I bought some plastic ornaments, I finished my door wreath (it looks a little crooked in the picture, but it’s not at all ;) )

(And the bow is gold...now all that's left is to hang it on the front door ;) )
