A very special gift for a birth, christening, or Christmas is this knitted picture book. You do need a bit of patience to finish this little book, but the result is something to be proud of and is always well received. For decorating, you can use all kinds of accessories that you might find in a crafting household (e.g., buttons and beads). In the book cover, you can perhaps hide a monetary gift or other small items. The book is mainly knitted, except for a few little details on the appliqués that are crocheted.

Baby leg warmers (for 0–3 months) are always welcome.
These are knitted with two needles, for anyone who doesn’t like knitting in the round. The pattern is simple and explained in detail. Maybe you still have some leftover yarn in two colors, so you can get started right away. Maybe my pattern will make a lovely Christmas gift for an expectant mom, or for a new arrival. The leg warmers need yarn for 2.5 to 3.0 mm knitting needles.

You can find a cuddly-soft baby blanket with a hood that your little one can really feel cozy in here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/15276/babydecke-izzi-mit-kapuze-in-muschelmuster

It makes a charming gift, and it's also just the thing to pass the time in the waiting room during mother-child health checkups.

This enchantingly cheerful set of a hat and booties is a great gift for expectant parents! And the best part: it’s suitable for both boys and girls! The knitting pattern is very detailed, and the most important steps are illustrated so that absolutely anyone can achieve a beautiful result! I used leftover yarn from Lana Grossa’s Cool Wool (the color numbers are all listed in the pattern), but any yarn suitable for 3.5 mm needles can be used. This is also a great pattern for using up leftover yarn!
Get those needles going—you’ll still have time to finish by Christmas!
The knitting pattern is available in several sizes for the first year of life! Get it here:

If you don’t want to knit the whole set: Of course, the individual patterns are also available in my shop!

Have fun knitting, and Annette wishes you a lovely Advent season

How about a knitted raspberry as a gift for the baby? You’ll need 50 grams each of soft baby yarn in red and green, size 3.5 knitting needles, and a whole lot of enthusiasm for knitting!
It’s really easy with my pattern—you can find it in my store.

I created this general measurement chart in PDF format as a reference point for baby clothing sizes up to 104.

Everyone’s growth phases are different, especially head circumference and shoe size can vary quite a bit. Personal example: I’ve been an adult for a few decades now and still
wear shoe size 35 ;-)

Information provided without guarantee.

More (free) patterns and useful charts are available here in the shop , and
there is also lots of useful information, links, and tips in the free downloads on my website: http://swollkoerberl.jimdo.com/ .

I created this PDF sock chart for baby socks in sizes 15 to 20. It includes a short version of my sock-knitting method, which I use in my illustrated patterns.

My baby booties are very popular. The lower part is knitted, and the top edge is crocheted. And using two colors definitely makes making these booties a fun and varied experience. Whether as a gift or for your own baby.......

You’ll need a size 3.5 crochet hook, a set of size 3.5 double-pointed needles, a sewing needle, about 40 g of yarn, and two buttons. Depending on the yardage of the yarn, the bootie will measure between 9 cm and 10.5 cm.

Or you could make a set with a hat and booties using the same pattern. It’s winter, after all—you’ll need something warm.....

Why not stop by and take a look................

Thanks to the well-illustrated pattern and step-by-step explanations, even beginner crocheters can make these rattles.
