Mark forum posts as unread + Manage notifications

Starting today, there are two new features in the forum.

1.) Read posts can be marked as unread. This should make it easier to read specific posts at a later time or find them more easily.

2.) From the same menu, you can access the forum notification settings.

The new navigation is located in the upper-right corner of each post.

Thanks. I especially find the “mark as unread” feature handy.

I just thought of something else. Would it perhaps be possible for us to mark individual threads as important or favorites? That would be great for image uploads and things like that.

Do you think the forum bookmark list isn’t suitable for this? Where would you like to see such threads (the ones marked as important)?

Yes, first of all, this is a great new feature.
And I agree with Birgit’s suggestion. A sort of “Favorites” list for threads that are important to you because you’d like to go back and read them again.
I’m thinking, for example, of threads that are important to us designers, like the one about banners or the image upload test thread.
We could create a list for this in the forum section or in the dashboard so that we can always click on them right away.
To do this, we’d just need to add another option—like “Favorites,” “Important,” “Save,” or something similar—alongside the existing “read/unread” status.
