Dear users, dear authors,
what are you working on right now? How’s your crafting coming along?

Still working on Christmas gifts. But that’s because as soon as I finish one, I discover something I like even better and end up making that one too. Soon I’ll have enough gifts to last for a few Christmases.

And I’m sewing together the big cozy blankets for my kids. There are countless granny squares in all colors and sizes, and my original idea was for them to sew them together themselves. They could do that, but they much prefer it when I do it. And as a change of pace every now and then, I find it really relaxing.

I’m currently working on a cowl in a brioche pattern. I’ve already finished the pocket scarf in the same pattern. There will then be a combined pattern for both. The scarf is knitted in back-and-forth rows, and the cowl is knitted in the round. These are two different ways to knit a brioche pattern.

Best regards

Christa

Hi, what else would it be at this time of year—Christmas gifts, of course! Yesterday I finished a mermaid blanket as a gift for my friend’s daughter, and today I want to start on the cute snowman baskets by the designer “picolo popolo.” We’ll see what comes next.... :-)

Happy crafting to you all, and have a great weekend!

Hi,

I haven’t had a chance to design any new patterns lately. I’ve received a few orders for finished little animals for Christmas. Right now I’m working on 4 pink unicorns...;-)

Well, I actually felt like trying my hand at an “amigurumi project”—I’d like to decorate my house a little for Advent despite having little time, and since I’m a self-confessed fan of Scandinavia, gnomes are a must, of course! I’m really excited to see how it turns out!
Then there’s still 1 unfinished sweater, the yarn for 1 vest, 10 unfinished textile artworks for an exhibition, and what feels like 20 picture frames that I still have to paint... I’d love to have just one day where I’m really bored! (And a housekeeper ;-))

Oh my, where do I even start?

I have a knitting project I started back in January that was actually supposed to be a KAL... but somehow I’m suffering from knitting burnout...
Then I’m currently working on a toddler poncho made from Boshi yarn, my first large amigurumi, a shawl made from gradient yarn, and a children’s blanket...

If I looked in my craft room right now, I’m sure I’d find a few other projects I’ve started, but I’d rather not go there.

Unfortunately, I’m the kind of person who has to try out my ideas right away. So my home is always a creative mess...

Hi, I’m currently knitting a baby set consisting of a little jacket, a hat, and booties...... I’m also in the middle of crocheting the BB-8 robot—I just need to stuff it, close it up, and sew the pieces on the sides..... My granddaughter is really looking forward to it..... But I didn’t crochet the keychain version—I turned it into a stuffed animal instead..........it turned out nice and big, and it looks absolutely great

Now that my head is a little clearer again (after stress), I’m currently crocheting a cute amigurumi as a test project and my second triangular shawl in a cable pattern (I find post double crochet really relaxing right now). I just hope this stupid flu goes away soon and this miserable fatigue disappears… then I’ll finally get started on my knitted sweater and a jacket!

Good morning!

I’m currently still hard at work on the “stock” for the Christmas market. It’s taking place next weekend and the weekend after that. As always, I’m finishing up this and that at the last minute (hats, wrist warmers, baby booties, mittens, little angels, etc.). But that’s normal for me *laughs*—I need that pressure…

And then I’d like to make a mermaid blanket for my 15-year-old before the baby is born, and a completely normal blanket for the little one on the way…
We’ll see how much time I actually have left for that…

In between, I’m finishing up a few patterns, since I’m assuming I won’t have much time for that for quite a while…

Best—Nina (who’s now jumping back to her crochet hook ;) )

Right now, I’m crocheting a SpongeBob at my little grandson’s request. And then there are spiral socks for a baby, a pillow for Christmas, and a bottle that needs a crocheted cover... It’s a good thing I’m disciplined right now and always finish one project before starting the next. That way, the wish list stays the same length… cross one off at the top, and a new wish gets added at the bottom. And now I’m off to my corner on the sofa—I’m already working with the yellow yarn, and I really like my SpongeBob.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Hello,

I had started on an autumn stole and a bolero. Because of the weather, I’m squeezing in a few winter accessories. Once my family and I are equipped, I’ll finish my UFOs...

I’m currently crocheting Christmas gifts—a bag, a hat, wrist warmers, etc.
Once I’m done with those, I’ll start designing something new, but I think the gifts come first; I don’t want to be rushing to finish them at the last minute. ;)

I just finished something and am facing the tough decision of whether to make a loop scarf or a beanie... Or maybe the dinosaur pillow first.... Definitely a Christmas gift. Stay tuned ;)

After I crocheted a firefighter’s helmet for my grandson, he’s now really set on having a police helmet crocheted. In between, I also made a few finger puppets for a customer (for her son’s Advent calendar). And then I still have a few sewing projects to tackle (a bike bag and a little dress). I’m also doing some crafting: a picture lotto with family photos for my granddaughter. So I’ll be pretty busy until Christmas.

... and after Christmas, I’ll be devoting myself fully to our February project.
