Dear users, dear authors,
In this thread, you can share key chains featuring fall motifs, animal motifs, Christmas motifs, Advent motifs, and anything else that warms the heart. They should be suitable for making with leftover yarn and easy enough for beginners to follow. This is going to be great.

@Authors
: Please post thematically appropriate patterns here, including a photo, a link, and text that provides information on the technique, difficulty level, materials, and what makes the pattern special. Good luck!

Here come 12 keychains that will get you perfectly in the mood for Christmas. Beginners won’t be the only ones who enjoy them. The patterns are perfectly suitable for beginners. The little Christmas creatures are already looking forward to appearing in your Advent calendar, your St. Nicholas boot, or as charms on gift bags.

You don’t need much material for them: a 3.0 mm crochet hook, Schachenmayr Bravo leftover yarn in various colors (depending on the pattern), some embroidery thread, and a key ring.

You’ll get two patterns here at a bargain price—the polar bear family in the Christmas spirit. You can easily attach the little bear to your keychain or bag. The pattern is suitable for beginners. To make it, you’ll need white and red cotton yarn, stuffing, eyes, and a size 2.5 crochet hook.

These are versatile little knitted socks—this illustrated pattern is available here.

Sweet preemie socks for a total foot length starting at 4.5 cm can also be used as doll socks or keychains or as gift packaging for money, or even to decorate a Christmas tree – the only limit is your imagination.
The pattern together with the sock chart can be used for additional sock sizes up to shoe size 20
.

The download includes 4 files:
  • PDF preemie sock chart up to size 20 for baby socks
  • PDF pattern for the individual preemie socks, 4.5 cm to 7.5 cm total foot length (23 pages incl. pictures)
  • Detailed illustrated PDF pattern for the principle (using newborn socks as an example – 17 pages)
  • PDF handwritten sketches (using a newborn sock as an example – 2 pages)
General knitting skills (as well as knitting stitches together) are sufficient.

Required materials for 1 pair of socks up to newborn size: approx. 10 g 4-ply sock yarn, or leftover yarn. You will also need a set of double-pointed needles size 2.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, and, if needed, a key ring.

Anyone who crochets or knits knows that yarn warms more than just the body.

With the little balls of yarn on your keychain, you can keep your hobby with you on the go and at work.

The keychains are very quick and easy to crochet and are also a great project for beginners.

You can download the pattern for these cute keychains here right away!

A moose instantly creates a wintry, Christmassy atmosphere. This little keychain (bag charm) can be quickly crocheted from a few bits of leftover yarn. You can use it to decorate your Christmas tree, Advent wreath, or even a gift package. Its cheerful face is sure to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

I have lots of keychains with a token pocket;
all of them can be crocheted using leftover yarn, and they’re always a welcome little gift.
Autumn-themed and quick to crochet are, for example,
the bear and his friends

or the sunflower

Lucky Charm Top Hat

Who doesn’t need it—LUCK . With this little accessory, you can now give luck as a gift or always carry it with
you. The stylish chimney sweep’s top hat and the
cute four-leaf clover are sure to bring you and the recipient lots of luck.
You can wear it as a pin on a sweater or bag, or use it as a keychain, bag charm, or gift tag . It’s quick to crochet, and you only need a small amount of leftover yarn. Materials list:
  • black yarn (I used Lisa by Gründl)
  • some green yarn
  • a little stuffing
  • Crochet hook size 2.5 (even if the yarn calls for hook sizes 3–4)
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • a marker thread to mark the beginning of the round
  • Optional: keychain, safety pin
