Dear users, dear authors,
Even as a beginner, you can make wonderful Christmas tree ornaments / Christmas decorations / hanging decorations from leftover yarn. With a good pattern, it’s all no problem. Conveniently, Crazypatterns has plenty of these patterns; this thread is the place for the very best ones. Go ahead and browse through them right away.

@Authors
please post patterns here that fit the theme. The usual details (material, technique, difficulty level, what makes the pattern special), as well as a picture and link, must of course be included. Good luck!

Hello, everyone!

These little bells require very little yarn (about 20 g), making them ideal for using up leftover yarn.
Plus, thanks to the detailed step-by-step instructions and plenty of photos, this pattern is perfect even for crochet beginners!

And these pinecones also require very little yarn (about 20 g) and can be finished quickly even by crochet beginners!

They’re actually finger puppets, but they also work wonderfully as Christmas tree ornaments. Santa Claus, Rudolf the reindeer, and Frosty the snowman are definitely part of Christmas. And when the Christmas tree is put away, you can still play with them! You only need a few leftover yarn scraps and basic crochet skills. Each step is explained in detail.
Here is the pattern:

Crocheted in a flash and, thanks to the simple pattern and plenty of pictures, perfect for beginners too ♥
You can also crochet each ornament twice and sew the pieces together with a few stitches—and
just like that, you’ll have the most beautiful tree decorations and your box of leftover yarn will shrink :-)

These little bells are quick to crochet and use very little yarn. Since the bell is crocheted double for stability and then crocheted together, it’s of course ideal for any leftover yarn.

Maybe one side red, the back green, and edged in white? Or lots of colorful little bells as a garland in the kids’ room on a window? That way, your yarn basket will very quickly have room for beautiful new yarn.........

These white, hardened snow crystals would look great on a Christmas tree. The white goes well with all the other colors of the Christmas tree or Christmas decorations. You can hang the snow crystals on the tree, use them as gift tags for Christmas presents, or use them for your festive table decorations.
You’ll need a small amount of leftover Catania Fine yarn (160 meters/50 g) and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. The pattern is also suitable for beginners—we’ll be crocheting chain stitches and single crochet stitches.

Best regards, “Ina strickt”

I have another tip for anyone who wants to quickly crochet something cute for the Christmas tree or as a Christmas decoration using just a little yarn. All you need is some red and white yarn and a small piece of wire. You can read and see how this candy cane is crocheted in my free pattern.

Best regards - "Ina strickt"

Hello, my name is Andrea and I would like to have the pattern for the crocheted Christmas trees. Unfortunately, I don't have any money left in my account. Would it be possible for you to please send it to me anyway? Unfortunately, I have no way to pay the pattern fee into the account because I am working this week. Is there also a possibility to maybe choose a few more and then receive an invoice and transfer the amount all at once? I would also take this, or rather I would prefer to receive it by post—would that be possible too?
Please reply
Thank you, Andrea Weinmeister

Hi Andrea, welcome to Crazypatterns. Unfortunately, we don’t send patterns by post or offer payment by invoice; we only have PDF downloads here, payable via PayPal, bank transfer, etc. If you have no way to top up your prepaid account this week, you’re of course welcome to browse the free patterns: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/kostenlos
You don’t need a prepaid account to download them.
Have fun

Who says angels always have to be white?

This little angel is a lovely Christmas decoration and can be crocheted quickly from a bit of leftover yarn.

The pattern is richly illustrated and explains step by step over 11 pages how to crochet the little angel. That means even beginners can crochet this little angel quickly - though basic crochet skills should already be in place.

  • 1g cotton yarn (115m per 50g) in a contrasting color (only for the "colorful" version)

  • some stuffing
  • pins, if needed
With these materials, the little angel will be about 10cm tall.

Skills required:

These cute mini crochet booties are already hanging on many Christmas trees too:

The mini bootie measures just 4 cm and weighs approx. 4 g, so it’s finished in no time

Have fun choosing and crafting
Ralf
