This crocheted hat not only keeps ears nice and warm, but it also looks cool, as its design is reminiscent of an old pilot’s cap. The glasses are attached but sewn in place so nothing can slip. The pattern is also suitable for beginners and is written for children’s hats (ages one and up) as well as adult hats.

    Hello everyone,
Actually, fall/winter is far too short for all the fantastic patterns available on crazypatterns. But you don’t have to limit yourself to just one hat and one shawl. It’s perfectly fine to have lots of different ones! And even those on a tight budget can join in and knit beautiful things for their children and grandchildren. That’s why I posted a free pattern a while back for a pointed hat and a triangular shawl with a small lace edge. So if you’d like, here you go. Get to work!
For one set, you’ll need: 1 ball (= 150 g) of 6-ply sock yarn from Lana Grossa (or similar), a circular knitting needle, and a size 3 crochet hook.
Best regards, and enjoy the pattern, from “Ina strickt”

I also have a really great tip to keep kids from getting cold feet in their boots or rubber boots: homemade felt insoles. Depending on shoe size, you’ll need 20 g (shoe size 18) to 70 g (shoe size 39) of felting wool (50 g/50 meters; scraps work too) and a size 8 circular knitting needle. The insoles are nice and warm, colorful, breathable, soft, and cushion every step. And they’re quick to make.

    Best wishes — “Ina strickt”
