Dear users, dear authors,
slim stirrup pants combined with oversized tops, such as oversized sweaters, are the trend of the season.
If you’d like to join in, you can get started right away by crocheting or knitting the tops. Stirrup pants are more likely to be sewn.

Not stirrup pants, but tight-fitting stretch pants suit my figure especially well. I like to pair them with loose, hand-knitted tops like this twin set.

The poncho is a one-size model and, thanks to its simple cut, truly suitable for beginners. The sleeveless shirt underneath is knitted from the shoulder down and then worked in the round under the arm. That means it can easily be adapted to smaller sizes.

You will need 700 g/840 m of yarn for needle size 8, 500 g/1750 m of yarn for needle size 3.5 in yellow, and 100 g/250 m of yarn in the same needle size in brown.

The pattern is available in German and in English. With one click, it’s yours.

I’d like to introduce you to a twin set here that always turns heads, even on special occasions.

It is worked on the bias and does require a bit of practice to be able to properly visualize the growing piece while knitting. The sleeveless shirt underneath is also knitted from the shoulder down here and can be easily adjusted to smaller sizes.

You’ll need 21 skeins / 840 m of yarn (3 different types are used here, but more are also possible) for needle size 8, and 650 g / 1625 m of yarn for needle size 4.

Finally, I’d like to introduce you to my super-wide one-size cardigan.

It consists of 2 pieces — one started at the right sleeve, the other at the left sleeve — which are joined together in the middle. You should know how to cast on and bind off stitches, as well as knit and purl stitches. This makes the cardigan suitable for ambitious beginners, too.

You will need 800 g / 1600 m of yarn for needle size 8.

"Feels like home" is a raglan sweater and is knitted from the top down in one
piece without seams. This gives you the option to try the sweater on
at any time while you are knitting. The side pockets
are knitted in as well, so you don’t have to sew anything. About 10 cm of positive ease is included, so the sweater is nice and roomy and cozy.
You will need:
Materials: Yarn: Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100g / 210 yd /192 m) 5 (6, 6, 6) (7, 8,
8) 9 skeins and approx. 100 meters of the contrast color for the pockets.
Knitting needles:
5 mm circular needle (2 times), 5 mm set of double-pointed needles (sleeves), 4 mm set of double-pointed needles (pockets)
Other notions:
stitch markers in 2 different colors (4 in one color MMA and 2 in another color MMB), possibly
a row counter, crochet hook for the provisional cast-on.
Gauge:
17 stitches and 26 rows over 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after washing

A schematic drawing with all measurements is included in the pattern.
