I’ve seen this video before, but I’d completely forgotten about it. It’s a great exercise for understanding how spinning actually works. I’m going to try this with the merino fiber I brought back from New Zealand. ☺

It reminds me of my mother-in-law. She used to spin like that when she was a child too, for lack of any tools—and your hands were always available.

I’d be interested in spinning too, but I’m far too afraid it would itch too much. Does anyone have any experience with that?
