Help with an English pattern

Hi everyone, I’ve crocheted quite a bit already, but now I’ve hit a wall. I have an English pattern and can’t get any further because I don’t understand the translation at all.

There are some great websites online for English crochet terms. Try Googling “crochet terms English-German”—maybe that’ll help you out.

yes, I didn’t write anything more about it or publish anything. … I just wanted some help, and I did find the translation sites, but they don’t help when you’re working with sentences; then it doesn’t make any sense. … But thanks

I did also write that I was only mentioning it again pro forma. ;-)
So it wasn’t directed at you.
But something like that has to be mentioned up front, since other customers might also use a thread like this to ask for help. :-)
