I also have a pattern for leftover yarn - a mini lovey for babies and toddlers.

Mia the Duck is a faithful companion for every little person - for cuddling, soothing, loving, playing, and snuggling... Simply a wonderful little gift that is also quick to make - it only takes about 2-3 hours.

The pattern is also suitable for beginners, as everything is explained step by step over 13 pages with more than 45 photos - however, basic crochet skills are required.



Materials needed:
  • 3 colors of cotton yarn in matching colors (meterage 115 m per 50 g)
  • Color 1   approx. 15 g  (for the body)    
  • Color 2   approx. 4 g  (for feet + beak)    
  • Color 3   approx. 7 g  (for head + flower)    
  • black embroidery thread for embroidering the eyes
  • some stuffing for the eyes
  • crochet hooks sizes 2.5 + 3.5
  • darning needle, pins if needed

Dimensions:

Length: 11 cm
Width: 13.5 cm

Skills:

magic ring, single crochet including increases and decreases, slip stitches, chain stitches, color changes, double crochet
including increases and decreases

Egg Cozy "Cheeky Breakfast Monsters" Crochet Pattern



Rarely is leftover yarn as much fun as with these cheeky breakfast monsters!
They are quick and easy to crochet and are sure to be THE eye-catcher on any breakfast table.

Every monster fan will love them!

Difficulty level: suitable for advanced beginners; basic crochet skills are required

Materials used:

• Crochet hook size 3.5 mm

• Cotton yarn in the colors sunny yellow, apple green, signal red, peacock (blue), plus small amounts in white – yardage approx. 125m/50g

• Black beads 6 mm and 8 mm for the eyes, or googly eyes

• Small amount of stuffing

• Black thread and a thin sewing needle for sewing on the beads

Stitches used chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, crab stitch (brief description included), half double crochet, double crochet
