Thanks, Josefa—I wish the same for you and everyone else here, too. Yes, we have plans for Pentecost—we’re celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary on Pentecost Monday. :-))
But with the heat that’s been forecast here, we’ll be staying indoors, since neither of us can handle that kind of heat anymore.

Das Wetter wird ja als sehr warm vorhergesagt. Wir werden einem Kurzen Besuch zum Schwimmen im Freibad einplanen, ein bisschen Gartenarbeit und Lese- und handarbeitszeit ist auch geplant. 

Gestern waren wir wandern zum Schloss Lichtenstein. Es war super. Viel Wald und toller Ausblick

I’m quickly taking care of a few things today—the washing machine is still spinning—but starting tomorrow I’ll be out and about; it’s absolutely perfect weather for being outside! Heavenly!
I’ll be crocheting in the evening when my feet want to kick up. Right now, LaCritza’s Mystery CAL is running on Instagram—it’s very exciting; I have absolutely no idea what it’s going to turn out to be. That thick, cozy sweater will have to wait a little longer… (but it’s my only UFO, and it’s not even that old—I’ll get to it eventually).

Happy Pentecost to everyone! We’re out on a paddling trip on the beautiful Ruhr River today and tomorrow.

Great, Inge, so we both have our wedding anniversary on the same day. That’s right. Have a lovely anniversary day.
For us, it’s our 8th wedding anniversary, but we met in 2011.

We’re making ourselves comfortable at home. The heat outside is getting to me. Plus, it’s chaotic everywhere, lots of people, bike paths full—no, I don’t need any of that.
My husband and I are going out for a nice, quiet meal on Tuesday (German cuisine or at a Greek restaurant), letting ourselves be served/pampered—that’s all we need.
Of course, crafts are a must too. I have time now, after all.

 

Wow, schon wieder Montag. Wir sind heute gleich nach dem Frühstück losgefahren zum Cilbi Markt in Neuenweg (Kleines Wiesental BW). Diesen Markt, mit Flohmarkt in und vor der Gemeindehalle und Chilbi-Markt direkt im Ort gibt es immer zum Pfingstmontag und es ist immer sehr viel Betrieb. Da wir früh dran waren, haben wir auch noch einen günstigen Parkplatz gefunden, ab Mittag geht da kaum noch was. 
Nürlich wurden wieder schöne Dinge auf dem Flohmarkt angeboten, aber wir können nichts kaufen, weil wir dann andere schöne Dinge entsorgen müssten. Ist halt so, wenn man die Schränke voll hat müsste man selber mal einen Flohmarkt machen, 🤣
Und zu Essen gabs viele Stände - wie üblich. War ein schöner Vormittag und das Wetter 🥵 sehr heiß. 
Euch allen noch einen schönen restlichen Feiertag.
