Have a wonderful weekend, you and everyone else too!
There’s absolutely no room for the November blues here—the sky is still bright blue and it’s relatively mild; golden October is just spilling right over into November—it’s so beautiful!
But it’s true, crafts really do help a lot against all kinds of slumps; they’re a wonderful way to unwind, lose yourself in the moment, and clear your head again.

Girls, that’s so true!
I also think that any kind of crafting is always balm for the soul and feels good no matter the weather. We don’t have to sit outside and knit. No, we can just make ourselves cozy indoors.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend from me too

We had a really lovely week here too, with lots of sunshine. That alone put everyone in the best of moods.

A lot of sewing was done...... now a total of 27 tissue pouches are finished.

15 for the hedgehog rescue, 2 for me, and the rest are gifts.

Aren’t these ones made from my hedgehog fabric just great?

Yes, for me, too, crafts—especially ones with cheerful colors—are the best remedy for the November blues. What also helps me is making the most of every ray of sunlight outside. That means I go out every day. I go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful colors. While I’m out, I consciously look for splashes of color—a flower here, a beautifully colored bush there. And just like that, the world isn’t so gray anymore.
Preparing for Christmas helps, too.

When I was still working three years ago, November was the month that marked the start of an unpleasant time for me as a commuter and driver.

Now, November has lost its dread. I enjoy the start of this cozy season, decorate the house for Christmas, and crochet or knit little surprises. Soon, it’ll be time to start baking Christmas treats, too. That brings back childhood memories.

I wish everyone a healthy November and, with it, the start of a lovely, slower-paced time of year.
