Reversible jacket

Both fabrics were a birthday gift from my husband and my oldest daughter. The jacket can be worn on both sides; the pattern is based on a hoodie pattern from 2017 :-)

Soooo cozy—I’m sure all of us could use one of these in the winter. And it’s even reversible, so you can switch sides depending on how warm you need to be. You sewed it beautifully. This style is really trendy right now, even among the big designers—though at steep prices.

Please tell us what kind of cozy fabric this is? You received it as a gift, but I’m sure you know. What should I look for online if I wanted to buy this cozy fabric?

Ina, thank you! It’s pure sheep’s wool, processed into plush fabric. My husband gave me some of this fabric as a gift a few years ago, and I used it to sew myself a warm house robe. The jacket’s lining is flannel from Buttinette.

Ah, now I understand. The plush sheep’s wool is, of course, something very special—it’s sure to keep you nice and warm. I hope you enjoy wearing it. Your husband will probably snuggle up to you even more often now ;-)
