How about these beautiful examples. Both are fairly quick to crochet, and you can keep crocheting with gray right away.
Both animals will be about 15 cm tall.
So they’re perfect as gifts, too.

There’s still a little while until Oktoberfest, but if you’d like to have this traditional companion with you, you can start knitting now. Xaver isn’t necessarily a beginner project, but thanks to the very detailed pattern, packed with lots of pictures and charts, even less experienced makers can make him.
And the best part: The pattern for Xaver’s nephew Alois is included for free!

Ariane is sure to make the hearts of everyone who loves pink beat faster. She’s a wonderful little knitting project for in between, where you can also learn short rows if you haven’t tried them yet. Of course, the pattern also includes a detailed section on the technique.
Have lots of fun, Steffi

@ Kerstin-schuhmann,
I have these kitten kids in the shop, though with a 2.5 mm hook they are only 17 cm tall. But if you use a larger hook, they will be correspondingly larger, so feel free to take a look at them.
Best regards - Claudia

Small, charming details like the flower on the skirt, the colorful accent on the feet, or the striped unicorn make Annabella something truly special.

My shop is also full of lots of cute little animals...

How about Lena the Bookworm and her children, for example?
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/14898/lena-leseratte-haekelanleitung

Or Pedro Panda? https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/16738/pedro-panda-haekelanleitung

The patterns include lots of step-by-step photos that make them easier to make. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, spiral rounds, decreases/increases, etc.) should be in place.

The links also show you which materials are needed to make them.

And in my shop there are many other little animals waiting to be made. So let's get started...
