Little covers for my walking aids

I’d regularly catch myself on my walking aids and end up with bruises on my arms—I always looked like I’d been beaten up. The last time, just last week, I had such a big bruise on my arm that my husband said, “Enough is enough. Can’t you do something so you don’t keep hurting yourself like this?”
He looked at my yarn stash and said, “Why don’t you knit something you can pull over the arms—that’ll help.” So I got started, and the first one is done: I cast on 30 stitches and knitted in garter stitch until it fit, then sewed it up and pulled it over. The second *cover* :-) is in the works
