How was Pentecost?

Dear Community,
How was your Pentecost celebration? Did you have fun, enjoy good food, and find time for crafts?

Oh yes, a little bit of everything. I met up with dear friends—once for brunch, once for dinner—and I’ve almost finished sewing a teddy bear; all that’s left are the eyes. I don’t have the exact right size anymore, so I’ve ordered some more. I’ve already cut out the pieces for the next teddy bear, kept knitting on the scarf, and read a lot.... but I didn’t go for many walks since the weather was a bit unkind—it only cleared up today. But the weather’s supposed to get nicer again soon, so I’ll make up for it then.

unfortunately, I had to work. My kids came to visit over Pentecost, and we spent the afternoon together. On Pentecost Sunday, we all went out to eat—it was delicious. We took a short walk, had coffee at Grandma and Grandpa’s, and played cards. Everything went well despite being tired from work.
I had the late shift today, so we had plenty of time for breakfast together. It was nice spending time with the kids.
Now everyone’s back home.

Weather-wise, Sunday was stormy and rainy.
So we had pizza delivered.
On Monday, the sun came out.
I always make time for crafts.
Other than that, things were quiet around here.

It was very quiet here, too—on Sunday I knitted and picked out some sewing patterns. Then on Monday, I cut out the pieces and started sewing.
