Happy Father's Day / Ascension Day

Dear Community,
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, and I wish all the dads and grandpas a happy Father's Day.

I’m using the day to keep clearing out stuff; now I’m tackling a ton of VHS tapes, and I still have a few VCRs lying around here as well.
I’m also currently knitting a shawl, have already sewn a few pillowcases, and there are some books lying around to read, too.

I’m having a delicious strawberry cake with my coffee today; I just topped it, and I’ll add some whipped cream when it’s time to eat it :-)

Oh, strawberry cake—what a treat awaits you there, dear Inge. I’d love some of that, too. For me, it’ll be cheesecake with mandarins from a Weck jar. I’ve already made myself cozy at my little coffee nook by the garden pond. I’ll have my current crochet project and my phone with a lovely audiobook. A treat for all the senses.

My dear husband is out fishing with his friend today. To each his own.
