do you craft more for yourselves or for partners / children / grandchildren / friends / acquaintances / colleagues?

It’s a bit of both. Sweaters are just for me, amigurumi mostly for others, and scarves, shawls, and blankets for both—I’ve even made two large blankets as gifts. And I once sewed a bag for a friend, but I really only make things that take a lot of effort for the people closest to me.
When it comes to little animals, keychains, and things like that, I don’t really mind, though of course I only ever craft for people I really like anyway.

Mostly for myself.
Unless my daughter has a specific request for something knitted or crocheted.

Right now, I’m making a lot for myself, some for family when asked, not much for acquaintances—maybe the occasional little handmade something to go with a gift card.
