For me, it’s a Sunday just like any other, because I’m a mom 365 days a year, not just on this one day!!! Anyone who doesn’t usually take care of their mom doesn’t need to come crawling back on this day to wish me a happy Mother’s Day. That’s how I see this day; if you see it differently, that’s fine too.

I feel the same way as Inge about Mother’s Day.

I’m all for Mother’s Day! After all, we celebrate birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and so on, and I think it’s lovely to celebrate your mom. And anyone who only does that on this one day—well, there’s no helping them anyway; they just don’t get it.

I’m a big fan of Mother’s Day, too. But this year, I took it easy.

I was out in the garden knitting while the weather was gorgeous. 

To all moms, enjoy the rest of Mother’s Day!
Since I’m not a mom myself and no longer have a mother, it wasn’t a big deal that I ended up spending the day on the highway—I’d been on vacation for a week with my brother and sister-in-law. It was wonderful and did me a world of good. Now I’m ready for everyday life to resume.
