Oh, Petra, that’s certainly not what anyone wants. But sometimes we’re forced to take breaks, whether we like it or not. And you wouldn’t voluntarily sit out in the sun doing nothing, would you? So, take it in stride and practice patience. If they checked at the hospital and didn’t find anything, it was probably just overuse—especially since it’s your already injured finger anyway. It’ll probably need more attention and, if necessary, some rest going forward.
We’re expecting a lot of visitors for Easter. I still have quite a bit to do: pack the Easter treats into little bags to hide in the garden, bake a big poppy seed braid, make the grandchildren’s favorite yogurt, bake fresh bread and rolls, make egg salad, and do a bit of house cleaning too.
Crafts
are as much a part of my life as my daily bread—otherwise, I’d be unhappy. I’ve knitted tops for my dolls (that’ll be a blog post) and sewn flared pants (that’ll be a sewing pattern). Oh, it’s so much fun! The earrings and the hairband are handmade, too.
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter.
Warm regards, Ina
