Happy weekend: Is the sun shining where you are?

Dear Community,
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Is the sun shining where you are, and do you have time for crafts or gardening?

It’s really, really cold here. I was outside today to gather fresh weeds for my smoothie and had to put on my thick winter jacket. I could have used some gloves. But that means there’s room for improvement.

On the bright side, the bell pepper and tomato plants in my sunroom are growing like crazy. Once they’re a little bigger, each little plant will get its own flowerpot, and then they’ll move into the cool greenhouse. Until then, they get to be pampered in the warm house.

Ina’s hard at work again.

I was out a little while ago—it was really cold and windy, just miserable. Not exactly nice spring weather.
I’d rather stay on my couch and practice knitting squares, or whatever else I feel
like crafting. Easter cards are still on my list, too…

It was still a bit chilly here early this morning, but now it’s up to 19 degrees, and it’s really hot in the sun. I’m so glad my new awning is up on the balcony—it’s wonderful! I’m going to make myself comfortable there tomorrow with my crochet supplies.
I haven’t gotten much done today—so much to take care of, and I’ve been out and about a lot, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.
And I’ll be out and about again on Sunday. It’s my birthday, and my family’s gift to me is that I’m supposed to pack things for an overnight stay—how exciting!

Here in Lower Franconia, it really felt like spring today, with temperatures up to 21°+.

It was sunny and warm until yesterday, but today it’s cloudy and windy, so I can get right back to working on my new knitting pattern.
