Have a great weekend + the switch to daylight saving time

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with plenty of time for crafting. This weekend is also when we switch to daylight saving time. How do you feel about that?

Very badly—I’ve hated this stupid time change ever since it was introduced.

I don’t even think about the time change anymore. It’s been a part of our lives for years and it’s annoying—and this time won’t be any different. I don’t get upset about things I can’t control anymore.

Other than that, the weather is supposed to be nice, so I’ll probably do some work in the garden.

Haha, still? I’ll probably take the time change to my grave—I’m sure nothing’s going to change anytime soon. I get along with it just fine, but it’s not exactly useful, so what’s the point?
I’m busy crocheting squares together—first in strips—and then I’ll just have to crochet the strips together at the end; it’s going well.
Today I made my way through the hardware store to pick up a few odds and ends, and then I finally ordered an awning for the balcony; it’ll be delivered as early as next week. It’s on the south side, and there’s nothing around to provide shade—you really can’t sit out there in the summer, which is such a shame.
Also, a fabric I ordered arrived. I have new furniture in the hallway—the coat rack comes with a little bench—the furniture is made of driftwood, and the cushion on the bench is dark brown. How silly—take a look:

I really don’t like the time change, but there’s no point in complaining. It’s not going to change anything.

I love the long summer evenings. The weather here is pretty gloomy right now, but it’s supposed to get better tomorrow.

The older I get, the more I hate the time change. Especially now that we’re an hour ahead, I find it annoying—it always takes me 2–3 weeks to adjust.
